Thanks for the recs. There was never a PC version of the original Metal Gear was there though? I'm a strictly PC gamer. I have no problem using an emulator though if that's the case.

I have always found it strange how PC games in the US can at times be so much more expensive than here in the UK. I paid £20 ($31) for Skyrim and that was before Christmas and while it has gone back up to £30 ($46), that is still 25% cheaper than the US.

Is there a reason for it? Are there fewer PC gamers in the US?

Gabe from PA raves about Amalur and it sounded like my kind of game. I like the open world stuff like Skyrim, but I grew up on JRPGs. A little structure is my kind of thing.

I will buy it...soon. Maybe wait for a sale. I blew a lot of money during the holidays.

I understand what you're saying, but that's a little misleading.

Also, R. A. Salvatore created the game universe and lore, with Todd McFarlane, working on the artwork which is pretty cool.
