1. What's wrong with a LttP remake? They remade OoT, which is among the best games of all time, and it's apparently awesome.

2. So they are rereleasing Chrono Trigger for the 147485862623549th time? Joy. Call me when they actually make a new game.

Because LTTP doesn't need remade as it hasn't aged whereby OOT needed remaking as it's horrible to play right now due to the very dated visuals.

Fair enough. Although I for one would love to see the story played out in a 3D environment.

Honestly if there were a zelda game that needed a 3D remake it's Zelda II: The adventure of Link

I've never gotten that far in Zelda 2, and a modernized version would kick ass.

Definitely, if I could get by the visuals (which I can in 1 surprisingly) then it'd be more fun.

No but review wise it's nearer the bottom end of 3DS reviews. I would go for Ghost Recon, great game.

Every review I've read has been good. It's not like the other games, it's a tactical game (like advance wars/fire emblem) rather than a FPS.

But you liked ryman so if you want to buy splinter cell go ahead.

Most of the games they said to buy I already planned on buying.

Except Steel Diver that is. That's the game the Nintendo rep had in when she let me play her's and while it was fun for the 10 minutes I played it I refuse to spend $40 on it.

Someone wanna tell me the fuck why 4chan or whoever hacked PSN and now I can't go on it for what could be up to a month?

It's over the fact they're suing Hotz.

Hotz is a renowned hacker famous for iPhone hacks among others but in January of this year he managed to “jailbreak” the PS3. Sony were not best pleased on this and issued a temporary restraining order which was granted by a court in California. This “forbids him from distributing the jailbreak, helping or encouraging others to jailbreak, and distributing information they’ve learned during the creation of the jailbreak. It also orders him to turn over computers and storage media used in the creation of the jailbreak to Sony’s lawyers.”

However when it really kicked off was when Sony legally got a list of every IP that visited Hotz's site as they are after a few other hackers. The group anonymous has stated they're waging war on Sony and it's "'offensive against free speech and internet freedom"


They have denied hacking PSN but it probably is them.

Jesus Christ. I heard about this. about a week or so back there was a sit down protest in a sony store in Dublin with people representing Anonymous. There were fucking 4 of them, nobody gave a shit, some laughed at them and they were gone in 2 hours.

I posted this on my blog about it a while back:

Hotz claims that the system and hack was used so that people can install their own software and not to be used for hacking. Sony are obviously not stupid and have pointed out that it will be used for Piracy. Now the question is where do you stand in all of this?

I for one as a gamer am pretty much against piracy, I do use ROMs for games that we never got in the UK or are not safe to buy on eBay (ie any GBA game I don’t have) but as a whole that’s about it. I can see why people want to pirate (free games) but I’m not going to take the moral high ground here on this, it’s just my personal choice nor am I bothered when other people do it. For me it makes you appreciate a game more if you’ve taken the time to get money for it. Sony claim this has led to a decrease in games sales, I haven’t seen any figures on this but I do know the industry as a whole was down a bit with software sales over the past year.

Since day one the Playstation 3 was built as a multimedia device, we have the likes of a blu ray player, Netflix for the US, music channels, PSN etc. Why should the gamer then not be allowed to install their own software? Imagine Microsoft said “yeah you can’t pout your own software on a PC” there would be uproar like no tomorrow. I think this is a good thing to be able to do on your own device as long as it doesn’t break any laws. One such example is the hack on the Wii to allow it to play DVD’s, this adds to the machine and is not illegal to play DVDs now is it? Exactly.

So simply put, if you're using it for your own software, that's good. If you're using it to illegally download games pssh.

As you said though people would only use it to download games or to give themselves an unfair advantage online. Imagine Call of Duty. Widespread fucking chaos.

The last thing Sony needs is negative press concerning PSN, and of course that's what we have now. So frustrating that their network is just top notch shit.
