So the 3DS, I'll probably treat it like I did the DS and wait about 4 different versions later to pick up the Lite version at around $50 and be satisfied.

They're fantastic, I loaded up the rom for them onto my acekard2i with an unofficial English patch. Probably one of the best Pokemon games I've ever played. With that said I'm now on to the FFIII remake since I've never finished it when I had my original DS.

In terms of 3DS news, it's been discovered that British retailers are actually buying 3DSes at £173 a pop. This hopefully could mean some sort of price war until someone like Tesco goes mental and starts selling them at around £180.

Nintendo want to make up for a poor financial year by launching it right near the end of this one. This is one good reason to wait. That, and the launch titles may not be up to much.

I dont want to get Black & White but I go mental for Pokemon games. I'm playing Disgaea at the moment, so I love that style of game anyway. My other half is buying me the DS version for very cheap and i reckon I will plough 100+ hours in that.

Contrary to Internet speculation Nintendo has officially confirmed that the Nintendo 3DS store and the web browser will be available for the device at launch.


This will be throough a firmware upgrade available from 25th March

Kind of cool that this year already has two games that have been scored 9.0 and one 9.5 by IGN (America) this year.
