Managed to pick up a copy of Imperium Galactica II: Alliances over the weekend for £1. Imagine my surprise when I have a quick scan online and find that it is a rare enough copy to be actually worth a reasonable amount of money.

Rather similar to when I first got Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri: Alien Crossfire. Paid £3 for it and could have sold it online for $100 at the time

I am proud to say that I am NOT wasting 60 bucks on an annual FPS that has zero replay value.

I WILL spend 50 bucks on an epic adventure game with a 25 year history of LEGENDARY games (and reports of this one being the best yet).

And I WILL spend 60 bucks on the annual WWE game that proves to be the best one yet.

Playing Imperium Galactica II has exposed me to something that I never experienced in my early years of working with PC games. There is a main disc that installs the game but then there are three other discs, each to be inserted depending on which of the three factions you choose.

Oh shit, I forgot all about MW 3! Damn, I'm gonna be glued to my tv screen for the next two months. I may buy MW 3 in a month or so. I'm getting Skyrim on Friday, and that will be more than enough to hold me over for at least a month. I'll also be getting WWE '12 and Skyward Sword. It's a good month, gamers!!

reviews for Super Mario 3D Land are in.

IGN says 9.5/10, and that it has remarkable use of the 3D technology.
Gamespot says 8.0/10 and that they the 3D is just an afterthought.

Am I the only one confused here? lol.

MetaCritic has a score of 90. Gamespot came in lowest, and a few places gave it a 100/100.

I would totally buy a 3DS if only to play Mario 3DS. Uncharted 3 may be the greatest game I've ever played.

I will never trust IGN reviews. They are completely full of shit. You can find abundant evidence that the reviewers are told to give a certain game a certain score, no matter what. They get paid off to assign games scores.

EuroGamer gave Uncharted 3 8/10. That's a lot of bullshit. Basically he says it's not Fallout.
