Gail Kim Quits the WWE Back to TNA?

Probably, but I don't want to see her there personally.

Gail Kim was defined by her feud with Kong, or carried, I should say. The only reason people cared to see her is because they thought she was hot (though I have no idea why), not because she's actually all that great of a talent to have. Pretty generic, really.

Never saw the appeal, so I'd hope she goes elsewhere, but it certainly wouldn't shock me to see her return to TNA.

you are all in fantasy what if land. Isnt Kong still in W.W.E. and oh by the way she is PREGNANT!!!!!!! That usually takes about nine months of your life so I think her schedule is a bit full right now. Who is to say Gail Kim doesnt get struck by a lighting bolt or get attacked by a shark by then. You are all talking about "WHAT IF THIS WHAT IF THAT" Blah, Blah, Blah

She should go straight into porn. At least it's less degrading than being a WWE Diva or back to the slums of the TNA lockers. Chyna's raking the big money with that 'Backdoor to Chyna' movie she shot for Vivid and Gail's a 100 times watchable than that beast. Do it Gail.

I wouldn't be surprised to see her back in 90 days. At least this time around she will have more people to feud with besides the Beautiful People, ODB, and Awesome Kong. She can have some decent matches with Tara, Winter, Madison Rayne, and Mickie James. I won't be watching those matches, but at least it will be something different. Maybe she will actually be on television and be shown for more then 5 seconds.

i find it funny - both r-truth and christian went back to the wwe and have done fairly well but gail kim has had 0 impact in wwe since she went back. this is someone who won the womans title her first night in the wwe in her original run - now, she is barely used and never for anything of importance. i think she will go back to TNA, question is how she will be used. when she left, she was alligned with JJ. now, JJ doesn't really need her since Karen is around - god i hope they don't have Karen and Gail feud.

Lol What? Their both equal today but in GENERAL The Knockouts are far superior and put on a better product and more creative angles.
What the hell does this even mean? They're both equal today but one is far superior? Are you talking about prior history? Because that doesn't mean shit when we're talking about today's programming.

Hate to break it to you and ruin the monthslong Hulk + Eric fluffing session, but the Knockouts division is dead. There ain't going to be another "Knockouts New Year's Eve Special". Mickie James doesn't even get the pops she got in the WWE, and Madison Rayne isn't exactly the Second Coming for female professional wrestling. How many threads do you see started on these boards where people want to talk about what's going on in the Knockouts division? (Plotwise, of course, plenty of the TNA guppies love to talk about which WWE rejects are coming to TNA/IW.)

THE GAIL KIM CHALLENGE

The popular statement around these parts seems to be that Gail Kim is, as one poster put it, "100%" guaranteed to return to TNA/IW. I don't think there's a chance of this, because TNA/IW has no need for Gail Kim. So I propose a bet, to anyone who would like to take it up.

The Bet

We are all familiar with the 90-day no compete clause. I propose that Gail Kim will not have signed with TNA/IW within 180 days of her leaving the WWE. The date she announced she had left was Friday, August 5th, making day #180 be February 1st, 2012.

The Stakes

No cash money- I don't think I'd get any takers if I was putting money on the table. Instead, we compete for signatures. If I lose this bet, for 30 days after Gail Kim's first appearance for TNA/IW after signing a contract, I will change my signature to the following: "The following posters know more about professional wrestling than I do:", followed by a listing of names, signature space permitting. If I am limited by character space, I shall change names in the signature on a rotating basis every few days. No additions or subtractions to that text, beyond poster names, shall be permitted.

On the contrary, if after 180 days Gail Kim has not signed with TNA/IW, every poster who bet against me shall change their signature to the following text and only the following text: "Rayne knows more about professional wrestling than I do.", for the month of February, or for 30 days should any of the special cases in the next section apply.

Special Cases

If Gail Kim appears at a TNA/IW event, but has not signed a contract to appear as a regular TNA/IW performer, this shall not be counted as having signed a contract. However, if she appears for TNA/IW while not under contract, if there are less than 30 days remaining in the term of the bet, the term of the bet shall be changed to the date of her appearance, plus 30 days. This shall apply for each appearance and is not limited in how many extensions can occur. Example: Gail Kim appears at a TNA/IW house show on day 165. Instead of the deadline for her signing being day 180, it is now day 195. The new deadline to sign would be February 16th, meaning 30 days of signatures reading "Rayne knows more about professional wrestling than I do." would start on February 17th.

If Gail Kim is reported to have signed a contract on or before February 1st, but has not appeared for TNA/IW, the execution of my obligations shall not begin until she either appears for TNA/IW after the report of her signing, or she confirms her signing via her Twitter account; subject to a wait of 60 days or until Gail Kim or TNA/IW deny reports of her signing. This is to protect against dirt sheets spreading false news. Example: wrestlezone.com posts on January 29th that Gail Kim has signed with TNA/IW. Neither Gail Kim nor TNA/IW confirm or deny her signing until she appears on a TNA/IW show on February 27th. On February 28th, I begin my obligations under the bet. The 60 day term is to protect people betting against me, in the case that it is wished she is brought in as a surprise.

That's the challenge, folks. My hat's out on the table- who hear thinks they know better?

I'll accept the challenge. If TNA is bringing back Jackie and ODB to get real wrestlers on the roster, why not bring back Gail Kim. She's hot and she can go in the ring.

What happens if this was all a work and she returns to the E, possibly in a CM Punk lead group. In the IWC era of WWE, I don't think its a stretch.

OK I will accept but how about we raise the stakes and why do I accept simple cause fom now to february its enough time for her to come in terms with tna

As far as The Gail Kim Challenge is concerned? She wouldn't have appeared for TNA/IW, so it would result in my winning the bet. The idea is that I don't think TNA/IW has nearly the use for her that a large part of the community here does.

I still accept. And just because TNA doesn't have a big use for her, doesn't mean she won't be signed.

Murphy, Rob Terry, Jacquelyn, etc.

I stand by the fact that Gail Kim returns to Impact.

I'll take the bet.

To make this post non-spam: I can't see why TNA wouldn't sign her as soon as her no compete clause is over. She's one of the most talented woman's wrestler right now so she'll add to a currently pretty good KO division.

Word from the dirt sheets currently says that she is still under contract to the WWE; they have not provided her with a release. If this proves to be the case (so long as her release is not pending), the bet will be null and void, as it is predicated on her being free to sign with TNA/IW. I can't really hold people to a bet where they say she'd sign quickly with TNA/IW when she can't sign.

I was thinking about who ever wins the loser(s) that lost would have to say for the rest of the year the winner(s) knows everything and also put they know shit about wrestling and where right gail kim going over to TNA/IW

Eh, I don't have the patience to keep a sig for an entire year, and it's a bit of an uneven wager against someone without much of a posting history here.

I see two possibilities, and both spawn from the same root: Her pending marriage to celebrity chef Robert Irvine.

Possibility 1: Gail Kim is returning to TNA. Obviously, for someone who is getting married to a celebrity who is gone a lot, having a stable, single location makes sense. With his schedule, if Gail Kim stayed in the WWE, they would hardly get to see each other. Both would be constantly travelling here, there and everywhere for their jobs. In this case, for her specific circumstances, TNA's lack of real touring may actually be a benefit for her. She gets to do what she enjoys doing, and is still under a somewhat predictable schedule. By going to TNA and staying in Orlando, its easier for her and Robert to spend time together.

Possibility 2: Because of her pending marriage, she is seriously considering retiring from active competition entirely, since he makes more than enough money to support the both of them easily. It's also possible that they want kids, and she is willing to give up wrestling to be a mom. Stranger things have happened.

Why not? I'll accept the bet also.

I think that Gail Kim would be a good addition to the TNA knockouts and plus she used to wrestle there in the early 2000's. There's really not a reason for TNA not to sign her.

The bet very likely appears to be off as she hasn't been released by the WWE, but I'll add you to the list in case that turns out to not be true.

Given the new direction IW appears to be taking recently with readjusting the XDivision with credible guys, there could be something to be said for a returning Gail.

I could see the current storyline with ODB, Jackie and recently Traci returning continuing with other KO 'originals' like Roxxi and Alyssa Flash joining up with them to take on the models and 'rejects' who have taken over THEIR creation! Then 90 days down the line, the first ever KO champion returns to spearhead their challenge.

Someone in TNA appears to have decided that sacrificing the elements of their product that was getting majority support was a mistake and, if recent X movements are an indication, they are looking to rectify this. The KOs division was great at a time (otherwise WWe wouldn't have bothered with Gail or Kong), both the Tag and World belts were given significant ringtime at HardCore Justice... who knows:shrug:?

The difference is that R Truth and Christian are both decent wrestlers, while Gail Kim is one of the most mediocre female performers since Victoria/Tara.

Gail matches with Kong were really only good because Kong is perhaps the best women's worker since Trish Stratus and can make anyone look good.

I stopped giving a crap about women's wrestling on a global scale years ago when I realized that all divisions everywhere where filled with mediocrety and failure.

If Gail goes back to TNA its not going to generate anything really new. Gail vs Tara, Gail vs Mickie, and Gail vs Love have all been done to Hell and back.
