I drank in celebration of something. I imagine it could be my Geordie friends.

I am going to sleep now.

Notice how I am typing drunk and using whole words and correct sentence structure. Fucking rookies.

That I am. Didn't come on here last weekend while drinking, couldn't get into my account on the house computer. I was looking forward to practicing my drunk typing.

Man, JKO gets more happy birthdays than I do. I hate you all. The fact that I've spent a week on a bender didn't help too much either. Jesus Christ, how do I still have a job.

Speaking of my job, I am looking for a promotion to a corporate job. Anyway, my boss from corporate calls me today, and asks, "Hey, we're trying to reevaluate how read Forte (a personality exam required before you even get an interview with my company) and we want to adjust the model to closer to match your personality type because it seems to equivocate to quite a bit of success. Would you mind if I shared your results with the property management team?"

I said of course not, said my farewells, and hung up. I leaned back in my chair with quite a contented feeling.

I saw this and thought of you

1) Puns are horrid. Fuck you Stormtrooper for attempting to bring them into this thread.

2) I've written a grand total of 1000 words this break. I was supposed to finish my novel. Not quite there yet. :lmao:

3) Tea Partiers Trying to Kill A Congressman.

Ummm...yeah....cutting the man's gas lines? What the fuck is your problem?

Good idea, Charles.

Get on that, some mod with the powers to do so. Lee would be a great choice.

Is he a racist like Techno Jonnie? Hopefully he can back up his arguments on why he isn't a racist a lot better than Triple K and his brother.

G.O.P. Forces Another House Vote on Package of Changes to Health Bill

With the Senate working through an all-night session on a
package of changes to the Democrats' sweeping health care
legislation, Republicans identified parliamentary problems
with at least two provisions that apparently will require the
measure to be sent back to the House for yet another vote,
once the Senate adopts it.

A Senate Democratic aide said one of the provisions in
question involved changes to the Pell grant program, which is
part of an education section in the reconciliation measure.

Shortly after the discovery of the parliamentary issues, at
about 2:45 a.m., the Senate majority leader, Harry Reid of
Nevada, indicated that he would bring the late-night session
to a close, and that the Senate would resume work on the bill
at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday.

Thank you very much, Lee. What a wonderful new name for the thread.

..As for the Senate, that sounds about right. Democrats would fuck up enough to where we have to actually vote on the bill....after, you know, dodging the vote in the first place. Can't even fuck the Republicans over correctly. :disappointed:

Arkansas's doing fine. However, the nation?

Domestic Terrorism in the United States over the Healthcare Bill

Sure, telling everyone we would die because of Death Panels was just propaganda.

However.....what the fuck is this?

A fax bearing the image of a noose. Profane voice mails. Bricks thrown, a gas line cut. White powder sent to an office.

Democrats and a few Republicans revealed mounting numbers and unsettling details of threats against them Thursday in the emotional aftermath of the passage of the health care overhaul.

Lawmakers uniformly condemned the harassment, but that's where the agreement ended. Democrats said Republicans were slow to condemn the vigilantism, while Republicans said Democrats were playing politics with the threats.

Yeah. White powder, bricks through windows, and coffins left at the front doors of some congressmen? Add that to the overwhelmingly creepy attempted murder of a congressman's brother by cutting the gas line to his gas grill (as in, turn on the gas, try to light the fire, and all of the sudden we have a murder) and we have domestic terrorism.

I don't care if you're Republican, Democrat, Independent, Iranian, Israeli, Russian, Green Party, or National Socialist. This is domestic terrorism. It is the direct use of fear and threats of violence or death to get a person to act as the aggressor believes they should. It's no different than blowing up a mall and threatening to do it again if the Healthcare Bill isn't repealed. It's the same thing the extremist right Muslims do in the Middle East, only they threaten to keep blowing up allies of America until they agree to join a Jihad against us.

This is bullshit. And the thing is, the Tea Party website posted the address of the congressman's brother (thinking it was the congressman's house) with a caption "Pay him a visit and thank him for his vote on the Healthcare Bill."

This goes well past outraged discourse or a particularly creepy Abortion/Pro-Choice rally complete with pictures of aborted fetuses and all. These are actual death threats.

And what does Congress do? Democrats complain that the Republicans didn't condemn the attacks fast enough, and the Republicans claim that the Democrats are using acts of domestic terrorism as an attempt to gain political capital. We can't even agree anymore on when people can be outraged that their lives and families are being threatened.

America. What the fuck? Seriously. I'm sick of this extremist bullshit. You think that the Middle East has the only extremists around?

I think Lewis Black put it best. There needs to be a time when Democrats and Republicans see something, and just agree on what the fuck reality is.

Since Razor can't get his facts straight, the congressman's brother's address was not posted on THE Teap party website. It was posted on a Team Party fan site. That's akin to saying WWE.com posted a story when WZ did it. Let's get some facts straight.

Also, Razor failed to mention that both Republican and Democratic congressmen were getting death threats, meaning that people who wanted their Republican to vote for the bill are just as guilty as anyone in the Tea Party.
