Former ECW Champion Possibly Returning to WWE?

you're all stupid. Lashley/Cena had a great feud, if anything, and this is just my opinion, he's a better version of Batista. better in the ring, better on the mic, fans loved him. too bad it's just a rumor.

They never had a feud... they had a match, a single match at a ppv and thats it. I wouldnt call that a feud. And Batista was 10 times the performer that Lashley ever could be. Better in the ring, and better on the mic (not that batista was great either)

Wrestling fans have become so stupid and brainwashed nowadays.

Nowadays Wrestlers aren't measured on how they wrestle but by their "Mic-Skills".

Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, William Regal, Dean Malenko, Fit Finlay, Bret Hart, Scott Hall, etc weren't so good on the mic but they made their name by "Wrestling" in the Wrestling ring.

I would rather watch any of these guys over Miz anyday no matter how good or bad Miz is on the mic.

On the topic Lashley's last run was great. He had the powerhouse look and his matches were mostly good. Look at Bobby Lashley vs John Cena - Great American Bash 2007.

It will be good to see another run of Bobby Lashley in the WWE.

Angel, Regal and Hall were all great on the mic, but what all those wrestlers that you mention have is in-ring charisma. They can tell a story during their matches in the way they sell and execute moves. Lashley's matches didn't really interest me one bit. Although the current roster is suffering from a lack of big name "faces", I don't see where Lashley would fit in the picture right now apart from possibly a feud with Cody Rhodes. There are too many bigger and better names in the WWE title and WHC picture right now

I never was a fan of Lashley in the ring or on the mic, but i think if he came back a feud with Lesner might interest me. As another poster said his wife needs to be very very very far away from the ring if it would happen. Honestly with his MMA failure along with TNA I am surprised he didn't come back a while ago. Aside from a feud with Lesner though I have no interest in Lashley at all.

This news is likely to be a load of BS but if it does happen, I wouldn't be upset. He was a bit overated at first but he convinced me when he feuded with John Cena at The Bash in 07 that he could hang in the big time. It is a shame that this was like his last match before Mr Kennedy wrote him off TV. He is a lot better than Zeke but WWE doesn't need another near super-heavyweight star. Tensai, Ryback, Lesnar have made up more than enough numbers for this category of superstars.

Lashley - to come back - why not - apart from being ECW champion he didn't really do a lot but has a lot of potential - I think therte are plenty of matches and feuds he can have Big Show Kane Undertaker ,Lesnar , Cena, Orton, Punk Sheamus - it would again freshen up the title picture. As I can remember he wasn't brilliant on the mic but perhaps that can improve too

I used to really like Lashley, even though he wasn't the best person on the mic. His in ring work always interested me, probably due to his amateur wrestling background and his dominance.

But for him to return now I feel that he wouldn't stand out at all with all of these other new big guys around (Tensai, Clay, Ryback) as well as the other big men that have been around for years (Kane, Big Show) and then there is Lesnar. So I don't really think there is any room for Lash at the moment.

Lashley returning could be a good thing. If it even happens, that is. Assuming he did come back then he could restart the feud with Cena from 2007. That was a great feud and when Lashley was at his best. He seemed to be in line for a big push at the time but then he left right after his loss to Cena. I wish he had stuck around at the time, he easily coild have ended up on Smackdown receiving one of Batista's many world title pushes.

I support a Lashley return not just to see an addition to the Cena feud from 5 years ago but I would also enjoy seeing him feud with guys like Orton, Sheamus, Christian, or even Lesnar. If he stuck around long enough after returning the I could see him winning the World Heavyweight Championship at least once. It will likely not happen. He had a lackluster run in TNA which accomplished next to nothing. Going back to WWE would be a smart choice so I hope he does although I doubt he will.

Thanks but no thanks I was never really a fan of lashley. In my opinion he was too bland,if he were to return it would also set back more of the current roster from getting air time.
