This only has a chance at working if Shawn, Eric and Feeny are back. Without those 3 (I assume we would see Alan and his wife whos name is slipping my mind once in awhile) the show will just be cory and topanga and their daughter living life and will just be crap. Boy Meets World was really made great by Eric and Feeny.

I wouldn't bet a lot on Feeny. He's 85 now and likely isn't going to be a full time or even part time character.

As much as I still trust Disney, the motion picture company, the Disney Channel is 98% crap. Boy Meets World is timeless, in that at almost 23 years old I can still watch through it and completely enjoy what is essentially a kids sitcom. Does anybody really think a sequel show would be given the proper care to be as good as the original? Have you seen kids shows today? There are no umbrella stories, or major character developments; it's awful, and I don't want to subject my childhood to that.

THAT BEING SAID...I'd watch it.

They're old enough I suppose (30), but from what I've seen online in terms of pictures... not really.

Yeah. I don't buy anyone of them being the parent of a preteen, but they could probably sell it with some makeup effects. Can't imagine Strong getting onboard though, he's an indie director/actor at the moment.

It's supposed to be called Girl Meets World with it being focused on Cory and Topanga's daughter, with Cory and Topanga being brought back. As long as it has Feeny I would at least give it a chance though he probably won't be. Not sure it would work for seven seasons like the original did.

The thing I don't get about this is that the majority watching it would be more interested in seeing the parenting side of it at this point. I think a Girl Meets World would actually be a decent idea for a show from a business perspective but I feel like bringing in Cory, Topanga and others would just distract from that with people wanting a BMW extension. If they try and mix the two I am undecided on if it could work. I think I lean towards possibly even if one or the other by itself sounds a little better.

They were married when the show went off the air in 2000, that was 12 yrs. ago, both actors are now in their early 30's, so I would say yeah they're old enough to believably have a pre-teen daughter.

Not gonna lie, I do plan on watching this shit. Though, if Eric is brought back, at this point, I would only hear my favorite animated character of all times.....Until he does the call.....

I still think at some point there NEEDS to be a Boy Meets World reunion with all the original cast. Also if Shawn comes back (which I think is a must come on he did go to New York with them and he was their best friend!) maybe he got married to Angela? Girl Meets World is a fitting title, As for Feeny sure he's old but I think it would be great to see him on a few episodes at least. If there living in New York still then maybe they can go back to Philly and visit Cory's parents and Feeny?

I still watch Boy Meets World all the time on MTV2 during the week, Still hilarious and my favorite show ever. Also I still think theres money to be made in selling Feeny puppets like Eric had in 1 episode.

It's official that this show is in a somewhat development. The creator is involved in the project but god knows when it would premiere. I'll keep you posted when more information pops up.
