I want them to do well. just for the fact that it would be good to have a team fail out at a world cup yet people are positive about it. I mean the Tall Blacks did fucking amazing in 2002 at the FIBA basketball world cup I think they got 4th that year. So it is possible for the entire noone has any idea of what they are truly up against to work to their favour.

New Zealand is constantly suprising in the world of sport so I guess anything is possible. Also it would do the country a great deal of good. Football is the most widely played game here by a great margin yet rugby completely dominates the news and sport bulletins. For the sport to really take off the All Whites need to at least win one game just to show to everyone it is possible.

They should definitely get out of the group. But once they do, they cant stay with the likes of Argentina, Spain, and Brazil. They might be able to pull the upset like they did with Spain at the confederation cup, but its going to be tough.

Yea I would have agreed until I saw them play this morning. They played well in the first half but completely dropped off for about 40 minutes until they scraped an equaliser. Quite a good game though to open the tournament.
