Favourite Wrestlemania Theme Song?

Hey everybody. How ya'll doin?

WrestleMania 29's themes are "I'm Coming Home" by Diddy Dirty Money and "Bones" by Young Guns. I think the theme of an event should really set the tone of the show, and I don't really feel that these do that.

I was just wondering what your personal favourite 'Mania theme is?

Mine is "My Way" by Limp Bizkit from WrestleMania 17. Great, pump-up song that perfectly fit the event.

My Way by Limp Bizkit for Wrestlemania 17

That song just fit that Rock/Austin feud so perfectly. And it does what a theme song is meant to do. It got you pumped and excited. WWE really needs to go back to the rock songs instead of the corny pop songs they've been using the last few years.

Way too many to name. A few of my favorites are "Step Up" by Drowning Pool for WM20, "The Memory Will Never Die" by Default for WM23, "Light it Up" by Rev Theory for WM24, and "I Made It" by Kevin Rudolph for WM26. I also really like "Surrender" by Angels & Airwaves for this year's WrestleMania.

My Way by Limp Bizkit. Whenever I hear it, I think of WrestleMania 17.

These pop songs WWE uses nowadays don't give me that WrestleMania feel that a rock song does when you hear it playing in the background when the WrestleMania logo flashes. It's a different feeling.

My Way by Limp Bizkit. Everytime I listen to it on the Rock-Austin promo or on the post-WM X7 recap video, it makes the hairs on my arms stand up. Like others have said, it's a perfect fit for the event. No other WM theme song gives me the chills and gets me pumped like My Way does, well except maybe Crack Addict which is also by Limp Bizkit. I know it makes no sense to have a song about crack as a Wrestlemania theme song but it's still an epic song.

That's 3 Wrestlemania's featuring Austin vs. Rock where the themes of the show are my favourites.

You are absolutely correct that your answer is the best answer. If I was forced to pick an honorable mention I would pick Wrestlemania 21 Big Time. Just a catchy song and Big Time definitely defines what Wrestlemania is.

Man, you nailed it.

I was thinking of actual theme songs from music artists but this one takes the cake. If you don't get pumped up or get goosebumps from hearing that, you are not a wrestling fan.

1) WrestleMania X7 - Rock vs Austin and Wrap Up - My Way by Limp Bizkit - coincidentaly this could also be a perfect song for Cena vs Rock as the storyline is very similar with the roles reversed and Rock being the dominator instead of Austin/Cena and the last meeting that had with the legends it's obvious they were going for the same style of interview that Austin and Rock cut b4 there WrestleMania X7 match where it started out as respect and got really heated..

3) WrestleMania X8 - Tear Away by Drowning Pool (Rock vs Hogan) and Superstar by Saliva
4) WrestleMania 24 - Light It Up by Rev Theory
5) WrestleMania 6-9 - Instrumental WWF theme

I'm genuinely very very surprised that the 'Wrestlemania Rap' hasn't gotten a mention yet.

Frankly this played more of a part in making Wrestlemania X than returning to MSG or Bret v Owen did...

I personlly like I Made It - Kevin Rudolf from WM26. It sums up perfectly what Wrestlemania is all about, one year of slugging it out and then you reach the grand stage of them all and you can truly say 'I MADE IT'
