I was fortunate enough to be in attendance at King of the Ring in June of 1998 at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh.

For those who don't know, that was where Mankind decided to take a header of the Cell against Taker, crashing into the announce table. Honest to Christ, I though the man was dead and so did the couple dozen people within earshot around us.

We were sitting about a half dozen rows behind JR and King and all the crap was happening about 20 feet in front of us.

Needless to say, it was the coolest live WWF / WWE moment I have ever witnessed and more than likely, ever will.

i was at the last raw of 2008 when they were in Manchester. For me there were 2 good matches. One was that fatal four way to see who was gonna face the champ at the RR between Randy Orton, HBK, JBL and Y2J. And the other was the 10 man tag team match: John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston and Cryme Tyme vs. Kane, John Morrison, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Mike Knox. Mind you my seats were about 8 rows from the barricade and to the left of Cole and the King when you see them talking

I've been to so many live shows over the past 15 years this may be hard...so I'll go by company.

WWE: (tie) Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit, Steel Cage Match (Richmond, VA) - one of the best cage matches ever and NO ONE should do the headbutt OR the moonsault off the cage...actually met Angle after the show and he said he's "never doing that again" (about the moonsault).

Also, Summerslam 2005 (Washington DC)....great crowd and energy, some great matches and moments (Benoit winning the US Title in 24 seconds, Jericho's last PPV match for 2 years, Hogan/HBK, Taker putting over Orton, etc.)

TNA: Samoe Joe vs. Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles (Farmville, VA) - this was actually put on by Hermie Sadler's UWF, but it featured mostly TNA talent. I don't even need to discuss the awesomeness of this match...it speaks for itself.

Classic ECW: Rob Van Dam vs. Spike Dudley (Richmond, VA) - this went over 20 minutes and deatured more crowd diving than a punk show...pure awesome.

RoH: Team WORK (Bryan Danielson & Austin Aries) vs. Motor City Machine Guns (Manassas, VA) - Not only did this go the full 20 minutes, but we got a 5 minute overtime, and it STILL ended in a draw. One of the most exciting, past-paced matches I've ever seen.

Vader vs Steamboat in 1993 at a house show in Greenville, SC. No build up, no tv angle, just one of the very best in a title match that made everyone who knew better, believe. No offense to Vader, as he played his role to perfection, but this one was all Steamboat. One of my last few great memories from wrestling...and it reminded me why I fell in love with wrestling way back when. I've yet to experience another moment like it. That ship has sailed and it ain't comin' back.

HHH v. Cactus Jack at the 2000 Rumble did rock. Also Jeff Hardy did a crazy swanton off the yellow cab prop like right under me...awesome.

Also it was mentioned about the pop for Hogan. I saw a few Smackdown tapings with him and although I thought I was over being a fan of his, seeing him live for the first time satisfied my inner child.

Sting vs Ric Flair in Baltimore (I believe in 91 or 92 ) at The Great American Bash. The Crowd went nuts when Sting beat Flair.

I was lucky enough to attend two of the most recognized matches in History:

1 - Summerslam '95.....Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon ( I believe this was the first of the two ladder matches between Michael/Hall...the other being Wrestlemania?)

2 - King of the Ring '98(?)....Mankind vs. Undertaker HIAC
What an unbelievable to sight to witness

Both events took place in Pittsburgh, PA @ The Civic Arena

I've attended two shows both in Portland, OR.

The smackdown taping i attended had Kurt Angle's last match on smackdown before leaving for ecw, and the dark match was Mark Henry vs. Undertaker.

My favorite of this show was Kurt Angle Vs. WHC Rey Mysterio. The guys i was sitting close to we're all for Kurt while My cousin and I were cheering for Mysterio. the end was kind of a disappointment with rey losing by countout but the match was really worked well and the most memorable moment for me of it was Kurt climbing on Rey and slapping him on the head like rey was Kurt's bitch.

The Raw taping I attended had the headline of HBK, Taker, Batista, and Cena Vs. Edge, Orton, MVP, and Kennedy. This was a great match and All eight men were at the top of their game. We saw all eight men hit their finishers and was a tremendous match. That was also the week after Trump dropped money on the crowd so there was alot of rumors going around that we might be showered on too.

I had a chance to see No Way Out with Jericho and Michaels But I had to work that night and couldn't get out of it. Seeing the match later I was extremely disappointed.

I saw Chris Jericho and Dean Malenko wrestle each other during the peak of their feud in WCW. That was definitely awesome and a technical masterpiece. Jericho also cut two epic promos that night as well.

I was at Slamboree 1996 and Dean Malenko had another great match that night against, in my opinion, one of the most underrated wrestlers in history in Brad Armstrong (who I would see wrestle again at a WWE/ECW house show back in 2006, and he still looked great). That one had a sick finish. But the highlight of the night that night for me was Sting vs. The Giant. While not a great match "technically", it was an exciting one, that's for sure. I so badly wanted Sting to win, and so did everyone else in the arena that night. But unfortunately, he came up a tad bit short. Nevertheless, I marked out the entire match and that's the only time I did that during a wrestling event.

However, I still think my ultimate answer would have to be Sabu vs. Justin Credible from an ECW house show back in 1999 during their feud. It was AWESOME seeing Sabu pull all his stunts live and in person. The shit that man would do just to please the fans, even though there were no more than 300 in the arena that night, leaves me in awe to this day. Say what you will about Sabu, but the man ALWAYS gave the people their money's worth!

Bret Hart vs Diesel inside a steel cage. This was the dark match main event to a Superstars taping at the San Jose event center years ago (the same taping where Duke "The Dumpster" Drose had his hair cut and it was Goldust's first set of Superstars tapings). Bret is my all-time favorite, but that was the only time I got to see him live. They did the ending where Diesel was crawling out the door while Bret was climbing down the cage, and dropped moments before to retain his title. But they even teased us with the way they announced it... "The winner, AND WWF CHAMPION (no "still, and a long pause... ) ..."BRET "HIT MAN" HART! After the match I crowded around ringside and got the whole hand-slap, and he looked me right in the eye.

Also, I saw "Sycho" Sid at a WWF house show at the Cow Palace. I don't even remember who he was facing, though I think it may have been Vader since this was just after Sid returned to the WWF, and he was replacing Ultimate Warrior on the card that night (they offered ticket refunds if you came for Warrior... yeah, right). It was just AWESOME standing right around ringside as Sid stood on the turnbuckle above me and did his whole "My name is Sid VICIOUS and I RULE THE WORLD" thing, then the pyro went off and blasted me with heat. Definitely a mark out moment, and I'm not even a huge Sid fan. He was just literally larger than life.

The Undertaker beating Adam Bomb in a casket match in a TINY (smaller than Impact Zone) space at the Wattsonville fairgrounds back in 93ish. My first live wrestling card, and Taker of course stole the show, main eventing.

Finally, The Outsiders vs The Big Show and Lex Luger, as well as Hogan vs Piper, at Superbrawl 97.

Baltimore-1st event was Aug. 25,1990 Sting beat Flair i remember cause fans were loud and my 1st Flair was like SHUT UP real loud.He lost that night.
May of 95 first WWF event saw Bastion Boogier vs Owen Hart (only time seeing him),Razor Ramon vs I.R.S.-I-C Title funny match Razor tied I.R.S. to the ring post by his tie he won by countout,Jerry Lawler vs Bret Hart (only time seeing him)Bret won 4got how,Undertaker vs Yokozuna(only time seeing him),Taker by dq.
Feb of 95 or 94 SuperBrawl 5 Vader vs Hulk Hogan my first and only ppv saw for the 1st time i saw my boy Hogan,he won by dq cause Ric Flair (i knew he was gonna interfere,he came from the dressing room not like us fans entering the arena)came from the crowd were he was sitting and interfered.
When Raw came here my 1st Raw DX was gonna get back when HHH attacked HBK they showed that on the tron and HHH admitted he done it.Cant remember nothing else or when it was, maybe in 04 HBK coming back.
05 a week before Wrestlemania 20 Benoit vs HHH vs HBK for the WHC,HHH won cause they were praticing for Mania.Benoit and HBK double on HHH,so he stayed out waiting for the right time and i think he pinned Benoit, good match i was mad cause i still saw WM20 the same match!
98 when Sting was WCW champ vs Hollywood Hulk Hogan(1st time see him as a heel)in a cage match,Sting won but i was like look how small the cage was compared to tv.
Another WCW houseshow where NWO was beating down Luger and some1 and Sting saved them this was in 97 before he won the WCW title.
Im jealous most of yall was at actually ppv n live tv Baltimore mostly gets houseshows but Smackdown has been coming often. One more last Smackdown when The Hardy was on the whole damn card,Matt was on ECW 2 times on Smackdown 2 times cause he lost to Edge good match and Jeff 1st WHC my nephew loves Jeff i like Matt! The darkmatch was Taker vs Big Show cage match,Taker won but this was a match that was on free tv.
The Smackdown when Batista got drafted The Bash was that Sunday he was facing JBL,I 4got what happened on the show but the dark match was Eddie Guerrero(his last time in Baltimore b4 he died),JBL,and their partner HHH (when HHH was coming back from injury) vs Rey Mysterio,Batista, and Undertaker-More like a comedy match the heels were scared of Taker,JBL got his ass kicked awhile tried to tag HHH but he left him so did Eddie,JBL got choked slammed to end it.HHH and Eddie didnt spend long in the match!Every1 was surprised to see a Raw guy on Smackdown or just seeing HHH period.

Never been to a PPV or televised event but the four (2 WWA and 2 WWE) shows I have seen all had their moments. Getting to see Sting in action was good but the best two matches were on the WWE shows. One was Edge vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE Title which ended when Edge dove off the top only to be flatten with a chair followed by the F5. The other was an awesome tag match between Angle/Benoit and Los Guerreros for the WWE Tag Titles. It didn't matter that the match was a rehash of a bout that had taken place 4 days earlier on Smackdown. Seeing Kurt slap on the Ankle Lock was a joy

I am not someone that goes to wrestling events all the time, hell I have only gone to one wrestling show, but that’s usually because there is no one else that I know of that will go to a wrestling event with me and not be bored. However, the one wrestling event I have gone to is Wrestlemania 24 and I am really glad I decided to go even if it’s probably the last time I’ll go to one until I am older and can go by myself.

Anyways it looks like I am digressing so my favorite match that I have attended is the Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels match from WM24.

Yeah…it wasn’t the greatest technical match ever but dammit it was the match where one of the greatest of all time retired and I was there live to see it. That match wasn’t about the actual wrestling but it was more about the fact that Ric Flair would be retiring and even though I haven’t seen much from his early days in the NWA, it felt special to be there. I can’t describe the feeling, but even though I have seen more of him as the past his prime Ric Flair it was still really emotional. I honestly never thought I would cry for a second time because of something having to do with wrestling (first one being when I found out Eddie died) but I did when Ric was pinned.

Like I said, yes, it wasn’t the greatest technical match ever but it was still a very emotional match and while ‘Taker vs. Edge was better from an in-ring standpoint, the Flair match was more special and it’s a match that I will probably never forget.

Mine, hands down, was the 2002 Royal Rumble in Atlanta. Not only did Triple H win the Rumble itself, but I got to see the returns of Goldust and one of my all-time, personal favorite, Mr. Perfect. Plus Flair vs. McMahon street fight was awesome, and Y2J vs. the Rock for the Undisputed title was nice as well..

I'd have to say a close second was the Nitro at the Georgia Dome where Hogan lost the WCW title to Goldberg.. Now I've never had much to say for Goldberg, but that night the Dome was literally about to burst.. Even on the way out of the arena, the "Goldberg" chants were chilling, and deafening.

In Australia I've only been to two live events. The only matches I remember were (From 2005), It was like 5 days after WM21. I think some of the matches on the card were Kane vs Edge, Batista/Benoit vs HHH/Flair. Seeing as I remember both matches they must of been decent. A year later Smackdown came a few weeks/months before WM22, They had a 20 man battle royal where the winner later the night would face Kurt Angle (Who had just won the World Title). Mark Henry won the Battle Royal. I remember there being a Rey and Lashley vs Orton and Finlay I think. Kurt vs Henry sucked since Henry got DQ'ed. Then Taker showed up to scare Henry away. That was awesome.

Living in Australia sucks, we get 1 live event for each state a year.

I was at the Tampa Sun Dome for the Royal Rumble in 95. That was the infamous night HBK was first in and won. That also is what caused the rule to be scrutinized about the "both feet touching the ground". It was also the first PPV I had ever attended so as far as memorable. I'd say that takes the cake for me. That night was cool for so many reasons. Even though it turned out to be a lame program, seeing Bam Bam Bigelow go after Lawrence Taylor was cool for this kid. Saw a bunch of wrestlers up close and even talked to Sean Waltman after he, as the 1-2-3 Kid and Bob Holly won the WWF Tag Team titles from Tatanka and Bam Bam (which led to the L.T. thing). So all in all it was pretty fresh. I do have to say that I prefer a good indy show. The vibe is great because you can interact more with the wrestlers. Makes you feel part of the show instead of watching a play. Bret Hart vs Diesel was a good match as well. Despite all the run-ins from HBK, Backlund and Owen. It was fun seeing Bret get his vengeance on them in the Rumble match.

It's been some 8 years since I've attended a match, and of the 6 cards I've attended none have been pay-per-views and none have contained any truly major matches. However...

I attended One of the first ever Monday Night RAW's in Utica, New York-September 1994. Shawn and Diesel tagged up, Owen vs Razor, Bret was champ at the time. Jerry Lawler used to do his in-ring segment "The King's Court". I remember the same guys kept coming out and wrestling every few hours. I was only 8 at the time and didn't realize there were such things as dark matches and alternate tapings, etc.

I was also in attendance for that Raw. Some highlights- on the "King's Court" Lawler introduced his first midget counterpart King Queasy in his feud with Doink and Dink, Bob Backlund came down to the announce table to gift a dictionary to Randy Savage (who was about a month from leaving), and I remember Davey Boy had just come back and was super over with the crowd that night.

However, the favorite match I attended came a few years later at another Utica card (house show this time) on November 1, 1997 and it would be Brian Christopher vs. Scott Taylor. Now, the match was solid and entertaining, but certainly nothing overly spectacular from a work standpoint. However, despite being an opening bout between two guys who were not established names at all the crowd was hot and really into the match. I was 11 and had floor seats for the first time and at one point Taylor threw Christopher to the floor directly in front of me. I gave the obligatory yell to Christopher that he sucked and he turned around and looked me dead in the eyes and yelled, "sit down you little punk!" It was just a really cool moment and, as far as feelings are concerned, achieved what wrestling at its best should achieve. It stands as a stark reminder to me, a person who is not terribly fond of either crowds or most wrestling fans, the benefits of the live experience.

I've been to Raw 3 times since living in Charlotte, NC and each one has had a really cool memory.

One was in January of 2006, right before the Royal Rumble. I got to see Edge during his first WWE Championship run, which was lucky since it was only 3 weeks or so.

Then I went in November 2007 and saw Jericho's first match back against Santino. That night was also the start of the Ric Flair retirement angle.

The most recent was the championship free for all last June. It was the Raw where Trump bought Raw. It also marked the first WWE title change I saw, with Orton winning the championship that night.

All very cool memories.

I was in the stands for Vengance 2006 in Las Vegas when Kurt Angle fought Shawn Michaels. I loved every second of it, and I screamed like a little girl when Shawn hit the Superkick against Angle's top rope move. It was just amazing all around. And the graphic on the wall of Shawn on the King of Hearts card was a nice touch.

I’ve been to a House show, 2 episodes of Raw, and an episode of ECW / Smackdown. I’ll be at the 11-17-09 ECW / Smackdown in Philly, by the way.

Anyway, my favorite match I saw in person has to be at the House show I attended a few years ago. The Main Event was Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho vs. Hulk Hogan and a surprise partner. If I’m not mistaken, it was supposed to be a Handicap match between Hogan and Jericho / Angle. That partner happened to be the Rock!! The Rock was filming a movie or just completed filming a movie or something, and was preparing for his return so he worked the short term ring rust off at a House show. Great match and great experience altogether. It was my first ever WWW live event.

I found a link to the results of the show. There was a funny incident with a fan dressed up as “Goldust”.

My favorite match I've seen live, was the Main Event at Fully Loaded 1998 in Fresno California. Even though the whole event was great, the participants in the main event were the biggest draws in recent memory. The WWE was on fire itself, enjoying the peak of the Attitude Era.

In a match for the WWE Tag Team Championship, challengers The Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin faced champions Mankind and Kane. Foley, less than a month after his historic cell dive, did a small table spot, which I really enjoyed. Austin and Taker went home with the straps that night, and when they did, Selland Arena absolutely exploded.

After the show was over, Id say I would give the match 5 stars. But years later, after watching it on youtube, I would only give it 3 stars. I guess you'd just had to have been there!

My favourite would be Ric Flair vs Hulk Hogan at Wembley Arena as part of the Hulkamania '94 Tour!

It was fantastic, and the crowd was on Fire.

The matches were

Big Bubba Rogers vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Kevin & Dave Sullivan vs The Nasty Boys (Tag Team Title Match)
Steve Austin vs Brian Pillman
Pretty Wonderful vs Stars & Stripes
Vader vs Sting (US Title Match)
Ric Flair vs Hulk Hogan (World Title Match)

It was a great show. I was 13 at the time, obsessed with Ric Flair and WCW (And still am!) and everyone put on a great performance.

Still got my ticket and programme!

Seen some great matches and some great shows.

Best Show: Summerslam 2002 - Rock vs. Brock

Nothing can describe the feeling in the crowd that night, when everyone was booing the hell out of the rock, and rock finally stating "Fine sing-a-long with the Rock is over."

Plus it had a great opener, Mysterio vs. Angle......what a match.

Michaels-Triple H.......incredible. When HHH gives HBK the backbreaker on the chair? I thought he paralyzed him. What a reaction from the crowd. HBK was unbelievable.

Benoit and RVD had a solid IC title match.......and Tajiri appeared in a dark match if I remember correctly.

And before the show I got to meet Batista, when he was still "The Deacon" lol. He was riding around on a golf cart outside the arena, he stopped and said hi to a bunch of us fans. He's very cool and down to earth.

Best Match: It's a close one, but Shane McMahon vs. Kurt Angle at King Of The Ring 2001 was insane. Of course the Michaels-HHH match was too.
Also I saw Bret vs. Owen at a house show for the title.......spectacular wrestling.
