My favorite Hell in a Cell matches include :

HHH Vs. Cactus Jack - No Way Out 2000 - This match was freakin' awesome to say the least. I could watch it over and over.

HHH Vs. Chris Jericho - Judgment Day 2002 - Simply Amazing

HHH Vs. Shawn Michaels - Bad Blood 2004 - This has to be one of the best matches, and when you have two great workers in Shawn Michaels and Triple H involved, you can't lose really.

HHH Vs. Kevin Nash - Bad Blood 2003 - This match was for the World Heavyweight Championship and could be considered one of Kevin Nash's best matches ever.

HHH Vs. Batista - Vengeance 2005 - This match was epic and could be considered one of the best matches of that year.It involved two men who took each other to the limit.

Undertaker Vs. Mankind - King Of The Ring 1998 - This could be the most memorable HIAC match of all time, but for me it's not the best. Mankind went into this match having little HIAC experience where as Taker had been in the last two HIAC matches ever. This was only the third HIAC match in WWE History.

Kurt Angle, HHH, Undertaker, Steve Austin, Rikishi, The Rock - 6 Man Armageddon Hell in a Cell Match - Armageddon 2000 - The most memorable spot in this match was when Undertaker threw Rikishi off the top of the HIAC cage onto a flatbed truck, and it was epic.

What are your favorite Hell in a Cell matches ?

I haven't seen them all, to be honest. But from what I have seen, the blood bath between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker would have to be my favorite.

You ARE missing the first HITC, HBK vs UNDERTAKER. But Im going to go out on a limb and say the majority of comments are going to be UNDERTAKER vs MANKIND - King Of The Ring 1998.

For me, thats HITC classic right there. I watched it live and was in disbelief at what I saw. I had never seen a man go through so much brutality in my life. The look on Undertaker's face when Foley went back up the cage was PRICELESS! Listening to JR and King call that match was amazing because they didn't know what to say...and THAT made that match so much more special. When they hit the top of the cage and it started breaking, I knew things were going to end badly with this, but I never expected what happened after that. To hear the crowd scream when Foley flew off the cage and to hear JR scream "good God almighty. Good God almighty. That killed him" made my heart stop for a second. Undertaker didn't know what to do after that.

Listening to King declare "thats it he's dead" when Taker chokeslammed him through the cage...I thought for sure Foley just ended his career.

Looking back, knowing now what I do...its a miracle that man is walking around today. No One knew what was going to happen in that match except those 2 men. Watching Foley smile in the corner and knowing now that he was trying to stick his tongue through the hole in his lip...wow.

I give a lot of credit to both of those men. Not like they weren't going to anyway, but they have forever cemented their legacy in wrestling. When they retire, 20 years later that match will still be talked about.

I still get chills watching that match. For me, that HITC is, and will forever be my favorite.

I know a lot will say this,

Makind @ Undertaker,KOTR 1998

How in the blue hell did Foley walk away from this match??
Seriously!!

As soon as it started,I thought it was over.I can only imagine he amount of people sitting at the arena and at home going..HOLY SHIT!!
as Foley flew from the top only to go through the top then onto the tacks.

And we can't forget some of JR's greatest calls ever:
Someblody stop the damn match!!
OR
My God,they killed him!!

Edge vs Undertaker at Summer Slam 2008

Lensar vs Undertaker No Mercy 2002

honorable mention to
Batista VS The Great Khali Punjabi Prison No Mercy 07 (it might as well have been a cage match)

The first. I've never seen such a one-sided match at a time when everybody wanted to see Shawn Michaels get his behind pummeled. The debut of Kane didn't detract, at all. Had everything.

To be honest, I've always been biased towards the King Of The Ring 98 HIAC match cause I love the Attitude Era more than any other era in the history of wrestling but my true pick would have to go Lesnar vs. Undertaker at No Mercy 2002. Taker vs. Mankind was just a bunch of spots & hardcore but no real wrestling, it was a good HIAC match, don't get me wrong though. Lesnar vs. Taker showed you didn't need to have spots like flying off a cage or going through the roof to the mat to be a great HIAC match. It had good hardcore action, good wrestling, was a bloody match and had a good finish to the match.

My favorite Hell In A Cell match was the Armageddon 6-Man Hell In A Cell. Kurt Angle vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock vs. Triple H vs. The Undertaker vs. Rikishi. I would have replaced Rikishi with Chris Jericho or Kane and have Rikishi face Chris Jericho or Kane, whoever wasn’t in the match. Not only did Kurt Angle walk in as WWE Champion, but he also walked out as WWE Champion against 5 other Superstars, pinning the Rock. I thought for sure that any of the other 5 could have walked out as Champion, even Rikishi, and Angle retaining was the last outcome I would have predicted. Great match, and a great way to end 2000.
