I'm Literally Just Here for WZCW
I'm feeling a little suspicious today and somehow got to thinking about Lance Cade. Not really the sort of subject a man likes to admit that when their bored they think of men, but let's get on with it.
Before Lance Cade was released with the WWE, he was alongside Chris Jericho as the protege in a strictly business relationship. Jericho offered his expertise and knowledge to Cade, whilst Lance did everything he could to aid Jericho in his career. Lance was getting some great exposure alongside Jericho and the two together looked like a cohesive unit. Then, something happened to Cade and he got released from the company... I believe he suffered a seizure on a flight... and the pairing was cut before anything really could be established.
Now, what happened to Chris Jericho after Lance Cade? Well, he kept on keeping on and eventually won the Unified Tag Team Championships. Considering all factors, Jericho winning the belts was done for a pure business perspective only... nothing really to do with Chris Jericho wanting to win the belts in the kayfabe. Why would a solo wrestler just decide he wants to win a championship with someone who he has little to no relation to other than being heels and Canadian? Wouldn't it make sense if he challenged for the titles alongside someone he trusted and worked with, someone who has undying loyalty and respect?
Lance Cade had been around in the WWE for a while proving his worth enough to get the push and re-package with Jericho. Obviously something was going to happen from this and a run with the Tag Team Championships would have been the way to go. Cade has the looks, the wrestling ability, the knowledge and the mic skills to become a star within the WWE. I could picture seeing Lance Cade contending for one of the World Titles. The pieces of the puzzle can be assembled to see Jericho and Cade as the champions, eventually breaking up and feuding with each other, possibly cultimating to a match at this year's WrestleMania or some other PPV to attempt to launch Lance Cade into the bigtime.
Do you agree with my statement? Would you have liked to see this happen? Could you see Lance Cade as being relevant? Would he have succeeded on his side of the push?

My conspiracy theory:
Lance Cade was supposed to win the Unified Tag Team Championships alongside Chris Jericho.
