Extreme Rules 2014: John Cena VS Bray Wyatt - Steel Cage Match

Highly anticipated match up for me here, I've absolutely loved their program so far and putting them in a steel cage gives us some added possibilities that are said to be in favor of Cena but I really don't see it that way. If John tries to get out he'll have Harper and Rowan to deal with and they can play just as many mind games from outside the cage as they would normally. To me it feels like when these two are in that cage together it isn't Cena's world, it's Bray's world and it's in his hands(couldn't helps it). I really think the cage will compliment Bray's style and I can wait to see this unfold, I am gonna say Bray goes over here and Cena takes their final meeting at Payback.

Anyone else here thinks that Cena winning is better for Bray? To me, it is similar to the way WWE/HHH appeared to continuously build heat for DB by showing him as a lesser performer by seemingly keeping him down. If Bray wins the expectations for him go through the roof. That is never really a good thing, especially for a guy who hasn't been around that long.

Food for thought.
Interesting take on it. Honestly I've always felt that a heel losing should cause them to change. Maybe that's how Wyatt's character can evolve. A lot of people will piss and moan if Wyatt loses but most people tend to see these things as final. Wrestling is never final. There is always "next week". If Wyatt loses, I'm more interested in seeing what Wyatt does the following week.

The build has been very well done for this match and the addition of it being a Steel Cage match has only increased my interest in watching it. I think they might be able to top their Wrestlemania match with this one! I'm fine with either wrestler winning although I can see Bray getting the win this time. Cena got the victory at Wrestlemania and Bray needs it more at the moment. That would tie them up and set up a third PPV match to close up the feud at Payback. Regardless of if there is a third match or not and who wins, it should be good. I think it will go on toward the middle of the evening.

DAGGER'S PREDICTION
Bray Wyatt will defeat John Cena.

Wyatt losing isn't a bad thing as long as his desire for Cena to finally crack is completed. Cena winning and then destroying Wyatt in the cage afterwards would satisfy me. It doesn't make him a heel, but it changes the dynamics of his character going forward. Let the fans decide how they want to react when he comes out on RAW.

I really wish they'd allow blood in this one because while blading isn't needed for a good match, it would add so much to the story. Especially for a cage match.

Bray's promo work in the build up to this has been excellent and the segment on Raw was a classic. I don't really care who wins as I am not sure the Bray Wyatt character is defined by wins and losses, and this could go either way depending on if a 3rd match is planned, if not I expect Cena to win but by doing something more violent than usual, thus giving Bray a "Moral" victory.
