So, you may or may not know that I am not a great fan of both games that are played with a mouse and I am not a fan of RTS games. However, I was drawn into a game that I saw advertised on here in an advertisement board. I thought it looked quite good, namely because it was a half-naked woman advertising it, so I signed up. Since then, I have completely become addicted to it. I think it might be because I generally have a lot of time to spare in college and have nothing better to do. With that in mind, I have really started to get into this game.

It works on the basis that you start off with a small city and have to start building from the ground up. It is an RTS to some extent but also relies on a lot of elements from turn-based strategies like Civilization. Civilization is a series of games that I have loved from day one and I have come to enjoy games like Civilization much more than Age of Empires for instance. I have no real love for games like AOE and I think it is because of the real time management. However, this game is slightly different. You join alliances with others and can start building immediately. It works on the premise that the more you produce in terms of raw material, the more you can build. You also have to upgrade all of your elements both inside and outside of your city. The game is all about expansion and I like that. It was the exact same in Civilization and it was one of the features of the game that I really enjoyed. Coming from the bottom to the top is something that I really enjoy in any game and I think this game utilizes this feature as good as any game that I have seen online. I am only a couple of days in and so far I have amassed an army, built quite a good city and have joined quite a strong alliance.

I really think that this game is an enjoyable experience if you get into it. As I say, I have never been a fan of games like this and I enjoy so hopefully it can do the same for you.

Anyway, does anyone else here play?

If so, what are your thoughts on the game?
