England should be pleased they didn't get beaten in 90 or 120 minutes. Italy deserved their win and the two things I'll take from this game: Pirlo is quite probably the player of the tournament and watching porn is the exact practise one requires to be a penalty stopper.

Pirlo played well but he certainly is not in the class of Iniesta or Xavi.

England made him look twice the player he actually is by refusing to close him down at all. Rooney should have been all over him any time he stepped out from the back. The only person that attempted to get anywhere near him was Andy Carroll

He put on a masterclass tonight, but Ozil has been the best player for the tournament's best team in each of their games in my eyes. No-one has really stood out too much though.
