This may be the most boring match of the tournament. Neither team has set the world alight this tournament imo.

Now I've said that watch it be like the best match ever with about 7 goals.

This is going to be so dull. Two defensive teams playing each other. I hope that Italy play 5-3-2 as i thought they were so much better and I love Maggio.

My thinking is that having told myself that this match will awful it will turn out to be game of the tournament.

As much as I'd want England to lose, I want them to go on to lose to Germany. So I'll root for them here.

This match is going to be either utterly brilliant or the most boring match of the tournament so far.

England can win, but we need to play bloody well to do so.

Although England's solidity has helped get them through and Italy aren't an all-attacking beast, I still think this could be more exciting than Spain-France. It may have been the long hours at work, but I nearly nodded off a few times yesterday seeing the ball go back and forth, side to side, short quick passes back and forth etc.

Ballotelli could provide some good moments, and at least its BBC covering it and not fucking Chiles and co.

Had to laugh at Shearer; "Ballotelli hasn't achieved anything yet."

PL title and FA Cup, that's one more FA Cup than Shearer and same number of PL titles.

Edit - fucking sweet promo VT there, loved the use of some Clint Mansell music.

I'd love to quote Mancini on Balotelli. "I don't speak with him every day, otherwise I would need a psychologist"

Mancini has washed his hands of Balotelli, but he is a quality player and he does have medals. I think Shearer was more referring to big games. Balotelli didn't play any really for City this year and I doubt he ever will.

Good game so far though, we're keeping them out of the box and we're looking dangerous on the attack.

How Italy aren't ahead here is beyond me. Former strikers would've buried some of these chances.
