That game was fucking stupid. I'm usually quite a mark for Gerrard, but he seemed rather useless today, with exception of like 3-4 times through the entire fucking game. Otherwise a rather useless English team today, which is a shame, I was expecting them to mow down the French, boy I was wrong.

I have always thought that Welbeck was overrated. Never thought he should start ahead of the likes of Hernandez and Nani for United and certainly not ahead of Carroll and Walcott for England. Swap Welbeck for Walcott and that team looks drastically more threatening.

They didn't even use Walcott as a super-sub. They gave him one minute.

I wasn't invested in that game, only caught the second half and England have frustrated me in recent years. That being said, the referee was atrocious!

I thought that was one of his better performances, defended well, didn't give the ball away and didnt sky a single shot as he was never near enough the French goal.

Gerrard was being forced to play deeper alongside Parker. He doesn't have the discipline to play well there and his best moment that I saw was when he burst forward. The cross for the goal was great though. I'm disappointed with a draw, France are beyond average but England were so focussed on playing two deep banks of four that they had no real threat.

How bad must Ukraine be if they have to pick Andriy fucking Voronin?

Really happy that Ukraine is winning. My ancestry on my father's side is all Ukrainian, so I'm definitely supporting them throughout this tournament.

That was it for Sweden. They don't deserve to draw anyway but they could have stolen a point there.

We had the England game on at work and thought the ref was pretty shite. There was a series of fouls on England players within a few minutes and it was amazing that none were given.

Only saw the 2nd half of Ukraine - Sweden, Shevchenko is a beast from the east. Great to see him score.
