End of RAW... Too much like A horror movie?

20-1 Taker

Dark Match Jobber
I think that the end of RAW last night was way too cheesy... I mean like with the flat tire and Eve yelling "Come on Zack lets leave." It was like a 50's horror movie!!!

Your thoughts...
Please tell me...

I think this was the type of open ended ending that RAW needed though because it makes you wonder what will happen next week. Is Cena just going to walk out and be fine? What about Ryder? I was pretty fine with the ending and thought something like this should have happened last week with Kane pullling Ryder into "the abyss." Then you could have had Ryder missing or something like that. But I will be interested to see where this goes.

Actually that's not worth wondering about. Of course Cena will walk out fine next week, and cut another passive-aggressive promo where he "rises above hate".

You cannot have watched wrestling for very long, back in the late 90s undertaker would have stone cold, big bossman tied to taker's symbol, have mideon be transformed and become one of the creature's of the night. Heck we also had undertaker stalking and kidnapping Stephanie, and that was was far more horror like than what we saw last night, even though last night was horror like it showed the terrifying side of kane that we have not seen in years.

Frankly I think the ending was great. It was something different then just ending with a regular old match like they have been doing all too often. This makes me even more excited to watch next weeks RAW to see what is going to happen next, and that is exactly what they should be doing to draw in viewers.

I'm intrigued mostly about Ryder next week. Doesn't he have a title match with Swagger? What happens to that match after he got choke slammed this week? I'm sure Cena will be back to his normal self next week.

Poster hit the nail on the head when mentioning the satanic Undertaker figure from 98-99. I enjoyed the horror movie tone of the night surrounding the night and I thought the characters played it perfectly.

Ryder playing the douchey star
Eve playing the stars ditzy, hot girlfriend
Kane playing the killer

It made me laugh.

That said, with R-Truth currently stalking Miz and Kane stalking Ryder - there's too much stalking going on in WWE right now for my taste.

Thats why its called world wrestling ENTERTAINMENT, the people were asking for old kane back and he's back, this is what kane does, he's a demented monster, how long have you been watching wwe?

Campy or not I really like to see WWE taking chances with their storylines. It may seem stupid or unrealistic but it is far better than going through the motions.

We've seen and reacted to something very similar no more than 18 months ago with Cena battling the Nexus. It wasn't a horror story, but the theme of trying to get Cena to turn to a dark (heel) place was very much a huge part of the story.

Most importantly I am anxious and excited to see where this is going. That goes for Jericho as well. Not so much Punk and Johnny Ace.

RAW ALWAYS used to end like this, or in similar fashion. I miss it. I'm all for it, it feels like a nostalgic storyline, I just wish it didn't involve Ryder because his character is horrible. I get all the work he did and all that he went through blah blah, he's really annoying now.

Maybe Kane will burn him to the point where he has to wear a mask that covers his mouth.

Sure it kind of had that feel to it, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I loved the ending to Raw along with having Eve in the car yelling at Zack to hurry up, because it's helping bring back the creepy prescense that Kane used to create.
Honestly as soon as we saw Kane following Ryder after he had just talked to Eve I had a flashback to Matt Hardy & Lita vs Kane, it's got so many similarities and I love it because that was an excellent feud that made you fear for the couple and fear/despise Kane. Raw being centered around this feud has been making the show ten times better, all the dark stuff with Kane is really drawing in the older fans and taking us away from the PG feel that everyone is always bitching about, I don't have a grudge against the era but it does feel like Raw used to be a few years ago and I'm lovin it.

actullay the ending to raw was great in fact im only watching raw next week because i wanna see what kane is going to do next! the only part i didnt get is when kane had ryder against the car eve should have opened the car door as the door would have hit kane or when kane was away from the car with ryder couldnt eve have grabbed a weapon (lord knws there was enough there) to save her new boyfriend? but it also makes sense why she didnt as soon as i saw the flat tire i knew kane was either going to pop up in the backseat and eve goes missing or ryder would get in the car only to have kane be in the backseat and get him or the ending that did happen but if ryder got chokeslammed onto a wooden pallet he would not be defending that title next week just sayin

btw was anybody else wondering why ryder didnt prop up the car to get the tire off?
