EC3's Comment a Challange?

Strife3

Pre-Show Stalwart
on 9/4 EC3 came out to do his promo and during his promo he called himself the best which brought out CM Punk chants from the NY Crowd. EC3 said he's love to beat him too like the others.

To me thats a challange yet people have been challanging CM Punk to things. What I would love to know is does CM Punk know about EC3's Comment and is ignoring it like Jason David Frank's MMA challange?

It's like everyone everywhere is trying to get CM Punk back into the ring but he's just seems to not care.

A crowd reacted one way, and a professional wrestler spontaneously used that in the promo he was already cutting. To you that's a challenge, to everyone else that's how a good promo works. I think CM Punk is more concerned with if he's going to have one or two slices of cheese on his sandwich.

Na, no challenge.

He just used it in a promo to make himself look good. Wrestlers do it all the time, I wouldn't look into it. No one else has my man.

I enjoy EC3's promos. I like how he can react to what the crowd is saying.

I don't look at this as an open challenge wanting Punk to come face him in TNA.

what are the chances of TNA going after and signing CM Punk? I haven't watched WWE for awhile so I didn't even watch the time when Punk was there. I also never saw TNA when Punk was there before. but didn't Punk leave TNA on bad terms? and wouldn't that make it highly unlikely he would want to sign with TNA?
if somehow someway TNA could sign Punk, would that make a difference in ratings?

Bingo. Spur of the moment. He quelled an uproar that didn't belong on that show by smothering it quickly and moving on. The only "challenge" there was the challenge he faced the moment the crowd starting chanting "CM Punk".

I'm in agreement that it's no challenge. All EC3 did was follow through on a promo based on the crowd reaction. It's nothing to read into whatsoever. He handled himself as well as a professional could, so he deserves kudos.

Nope. Not a challenge at all.
And if I were a betting man I'd bet that CM Punk wasn't watching and if people say anything to him about it he probably couldn't care less.

It was just some nice improv by EC3.

Kinda like his back and forth with the crowd when they chant you can't wrestle at him.

I know he's used the same a lines a couple times now but I'd assume the first time it was an improv by him.

It's not a challenge. But even if it was, what's Punk going to do? "I have come here to prove that I am better than you at a pre-determined, scripted match that in no way shows why I am a better wrestler than you because Todd the writer decided I should win therefore I am better".

Plus EC3 he could not even lace up CM Punk's boots because CM Punk would wrestle circles around Ethan Carter III because EC3 all he is a pretty boy naturally, no wrestling ability whatsoever and even if he does have ability it is not much compared to CM Punk because he wrestled where the big boys play in WWE and TNA if anything is the minor leagues

I lost count of botched CM Punk moves during his debut ECW match... Ever since EC3 was Derrick Bateman, I can count the few he's done. Not to mention, EC3's work has been some of the best the world over, not just in TNA. He's been able to work great matches in the company since coming there and has done a lot more there than in WWE which is a good thing. All he needs now is Maxine but it doesn't seem to be coming to a reality.
