Have to go with the Steiner Brothers here. They were bigger stars in bigger promotions. The Destruction Crew were good champions in the AWA but that was during the dying days of the promotion. They didn't do all that well as The Beverly Brothers in the WWF. They were a good team but a far cry from the legendary team the Steiners were. By the way, check out the opening match from the 1993 Royal Rumble.

This match happened at the '93 Rumble and the Steiner Brothers soundly defeated the Destruction Crew (Beverly Brothers). The same will happen here. Steiners to Round 2.

Agreed. There aren't many teams I'd put over the Steiners in this tournament, their high seeding is well deserved.

I don't see the Destruction Crew/Beverly Brothers being able to beat Rick and Scotty in the first round of a competition like this. It shouldn't be too much of a struggle for the Steiner's to pick up the win here and move on.

Destruction Crew is a very underrated team. Enos in general is a better wrestler than he's ever gotten credit for. Too many people are tainted by the Beverly Brothers run, which was typical WWF early 90s garbage.

That said, Steiners are just a dominant force and win this one going away.

Agree 100% The Crew was a very underrated team. Sadly, that AWA Title means little as that promotion was on its last legs, and Vince REALLY buried them as the Bellamy's.

The Steiners were an elite team for many years. Pitting The Destruction Crew against the Steiners is kind of similar to pitting the Steiners vs Jose Estrada and Baron Mikel Scicluna: Same mismatch, same easy result. Steiners in 3 minutes.

You're absolutely right. The Destruction Crew was a great team. The Beverly Brothers? Not so much. Doesn't matter that they were champs in the dying days of the AWA like some have mentioned, because that has nothing to do with the fact that they were a great team.

You gotta wonder what might have been had they either been allowed to keep their gimmick when they went to the WWF, or at least been given something similar. Instead of McMahon trying to create a modern day Valiant Brothers during a time when no one wanted to see that.

That all said. The Steiners are a team that should have a real chance of winning this entire thing. Can't vote against them here.

These teams could wrestle ten matches and the Steiners would win all ten as far as I'm concerned. They were just too dominant. Steiners for the win.
