Just as long as WWE don't release him, I'm a big fan. He's really good in the ring, isn't too bad at cutting a promo, I love his finisher. I'd love him to turn face and eventually win the IC title again.

He really has fallen from grace over the past year, wasn't he in the Elimination Chamber in 2011. What did he do wrong?

I chose "Crazy Heel Turn" because I heard he was a head case from a Wrestlezone news break. I don't feel like getting the link right now.

But I have to admit I did like him in his initial run. I never bought into the "Chosen One" thing, if only because I honestly didn't see where he was utilizing it besides having the commentators remind us he was it. Now it just shows that Vince can't do two things on his own show:

a) Pick his own world champions
b)successfully die from a limo explosion

Nah but I did like McIntyre. I still have this image in my head of a post match beat down where he was kicking someone's head. I think it was Matt Hardy; good stuff either way. So let's see more head kicking from a crazed Scotsman!

It's weird because it seems like they are burying him completely.
but i have a creeping feeling that he might just win the rumble or something as the wwe is now trying to be unpredictable.
don't know we he isn't being pushed honestly who would you rather watch drew or jobbers like slater, santino or the funkasaurus
also if he wins the rumble i called it first.

I know this is a long shot, but here me out! This week is the week that creative make their final decisions for what they have planned for wrestlemania! What if Drew wins the rumble and makes up for his insane losing streak as of late! failing that he pulls an Edge and attacks someone before elimination chamber. Either way I see this turning out to be good for him!

I think he's done well with this angle, maybe it's being used to allow him to showcase more personality. What the pay off is I have no idea, but I could see it being something like him seeking out Vickie to manage him to get him back on track after all the losses.

Hopefully his long overdue release.

He's John Morrison 2.0. aka Shelton Shelton Benjamin 3.0 aka Matt Hardy vs 4.0

Completely devoid of any and all talent in the ring and on the mic. He moved to Raw and got buried, moving him back to Smackdown and putting him on a losing streak hasn't done anything to improve his standing. People still do not give a shit about him, the entire domestic battery batshit crazy ex wife/current wife Tiffany didn't do him any favors and its time they cut ties with him completely.

I swear they a very similar story with MVP on smackdown a few years ago that culminated in him turning face.

I think that he will continue to lose before Teddy puts him in a seemingly impossible match against a heel which he wins. The heel is a sore loser and starts a feud with Drew Mcintyre where Drew acts as the face

Yeah and remember how well that worked out for MVP when he moved to Raw, lost the US or IC Title to Kofi, had one decent match with Orton, and then feel back down the middle card ladder and then went right out the door?

Ted DiBiase Jr still hasn't gained momentum back for being on the losing end of a feud with Orton, then Rhodes.

Some guys just do not have it, Drew Mcintyre is one of those guys

Drew Mcintyre has "IT" the WWE have something up their sleeve for him, and he's already gaining some reaction with this strange storyline. Some people have no faith others do, I for one believe he will only get better. Once he hits 30 and is 110% dedicated and matured a bit more, then you'll see his true ability and commitment, which will make him shine even more. He was already doing fine at 24, but that's still young and the company are weary of young one's slipping up, so this is his second proper run this year at 26/27 and they'll be testing him to see how far his in-ring abilities and mic skill etc have improved! I have seen an improvement in all areas! If you watch and listen to him from 2009 and then do the same as of SD recently, he has improved and that's what the WWE want to see! Why throw away someone who is dedicated to the company and is improving all the time? the guy is also living his dream, good on him!!!

Drew can be a major player... In several years - he will benefit from a build like this. Get him as a Face and get him over slowly but surely - the idea of an underdog big guy is interesting and something I haven't seen before. I like how this angle is playing out so far and really want to see what it is leading towards

It would be weird to see him as a face and I don't think they are trying to do that. However, seeing him in a feud with Cody Rhodes would be pretty awesome in my opinion especially battling for the IC

Scotland and England being bitter enemies would actually be a great way to sell the angle. As one last chance to make it, Teddy Long tells Drew he needs to get some experienced advice and has to do whatever his new manager tells him. The manager ends up being Regal. You could then turn him face or keep him heel based on how Regal treats him. If he berates him and makes him do anti-Scottish things, when Drew eventually revolts, he goes face. If Drew fights legitimately helpful advice from the helpful veteran he stays heel.

For me, I think I could see him turning face as that is one route they haven't tried with him yet. An aggressive, fighting to maintain control (something they have built up as being a weakness) face, but face nonetheless.

It's an interesting idea but I honestly don't think the North American audiences would really give 2 shits about the rivalry between Scotland and England. Also, I'm curious as to what you think the anti-Scottish things would be? I remember Morrison coming out in a kilt with the Braveheart facepaint on and a claymore a couple of years ago to mock Drew, but I just want an idea of the kinds of anti-Scottish things Drew would be forced to do?

I guess they could try him as a face, but his intensive nature seems to be one of his biggest strengths which seems to lend itself to a hell persona. At this moment in time I'm just glad to see him back on tv and maybe moving out of the doghouse, so with any luck Drew can make the most of this opportunity.

ok so you expect a guy that is jobbing to the ultimate jobber (santino), you actually believe that drew has a future? in the words of the miz, really? really? reallly? i dont think drew can come back after jobbing to santino marella, like legit, how do you come back from that?? sorry but when drew gets on the mic, i turn the channel. when drew gets in the ring, he is alright at best. he isnt overly gifted in the ring, he is average, maybe a lil below average at best. maybe take him down to fcw have him train his ass off then have him come back with a fresh persona and maybe i could see him saving his career, but until then i think drew may very well get fired much sooner then later.

When Drew is on the mic you change channel.....ahahaha....he's not that bad, can you not understand his accent or something? When he was on tv alot during late 2009 early 2010 he was easily one of the best heels on SD! People hated him...job done! People loved him....job done....adios amigo! :)

I guess anti-Scottish wasn't really the right choice of words. Was thinking more pro-English. I am no expert on Scottish-English heritage/conflict but I would imagine a Scotsman being forced to be subservient to an Englishman would be insulting enough.

I don't think that would fly over in America! Some would get it but most wouldn't. It's hard enough for most foreigners to play it there way, never mind the Uk's way! Mcintyre and Barrett may, "may" be tag partners again in the future, which I would love, but for now they are focusing on singles. Right now though the Mcintyre storyline needs some focus and direction...soon!

What ever they are planning, it won't stick. The WWE doesn't have the attention span anymore to sustain a storyline in which McIntyre has to grow and find his intensity again. The WWE tried something similar with MVP and just about sank him, which was stupid because he was extremely over as a cocky, arrogant heel. These days, WWE is all about either the fast push, with the thoughtful, unrushed booking of Cody Rhodes being the exception.

I dont know if you guys remember and I didnt see anyone else say this, but they did the samething with MVP before he turned face.

We'll it seems that Drew has to prove himself to Teddy Long, but his attack on Brodus was seemingly cut out?.....hmmm what a way to prove yourself???

Yeah a few people are saying this :p

Anyone know how Mcintyre can "prove himself" to Mr Theodore Long?
Should be fun finding out though :)

For several weeks in a row, his promos have been alongside the heels of Santino promos. And Santino has been searching for a partner for the tag belts.

I don't think this is a coincidence. So... I predict we'll see Santyre at some point in the next two weeks. Drew will end up teaming with Santino out of desperation, win the belts, and we'll get a mismatched set of tag champs who don't really get along (at least at the start) and when that's over, Drew will get a push.

Drew's future is about to turn around. He'll be a face for a bit, though I hope it ends with him trying to stuff that stupid cobra down Santino's throat and walking away as a major heel, maybe with Rosa as his manager.

Sounds interesting, I hope Drew's future will turn around soon and he gets more over with the crowds. I think just now though they are trialing him in a variety of ways just to see how people react.

Maybe by coming to Teddy's rescue. When Mark Henry was accosting the GM in the ring on Friday, I was hoping against hope Drew would come out and save him. Yes, I realize that McIntyre is hardly of the status to be laying out Mark Henry, at least not yet. But it occurred that this would be a manner in which Drew could impress Teddy "in some other way" than a wrestling match, as Teddy invited him to do.

As for someone else's idea of teaming Drew with Santino.....I purely hope not. Santino is a novelty wrestler, a comedy act. Teaming Marella with someone like Hacksaw Duggan is more appropriate than trying to jump start a serious wrestler's career by pairing him with Santino. Look at Koslov; he was a serious wrestler but once he got involved with Santino, he became a clown, involved in dance-offs......and then got released.

Please, not Santino.

This isn't what I *want* to happen, merely what my (often faulty) crystal ball says will happen. I think such a move could help Drew if they play the team as an odd couple, with Drew being the overly serious guy who reacts with increduility to Santino's shenanignas (ie. he never seriously gets into the role of "the dancing Scotsman"), the team gets over with the fans, and he gets a memorable heel turn at the end. On the other hand, the possibility of such a team leading to "future endeavors" is very strong.

I'm in two minds about this one, on the one hand he could get more over with the crowds teaming briefly with Santino and on the other hand it might make him look even worse.....could it?
You know it might just work!

I think Beth is the only person to have been paired with Santino that has any credibility left.
although.... I cant think of that many that have been paired with the powerwalking unibrow
