Turn Bayley heel
Round 1 - The round of certainties

Timocracy - John Cena
Rock N Doc Connection - Triple H
This Is Domination - Edge
FromTheBack - AJ Styles
The Nasty Boys - Kurt Angle
Power City - Randy Orton
FFS - CM Punk
Team RoidTech - Drew McIntyre
Camp Cornette - Chris Jericho

Pretty straightforward picks by all here. Sure, there was a little bit of deciding to do, but ultimately this round was people picking the best wrestlers going. There was little controversy.

Best pick - John Cena. The man always wins, is guaranteed a title run, and may even keep the WWE title for a year. Great pick.

Worst pick - CM Punk. Not a bad pick per se, but least likely of any of them to make it to the top.

Round 2 - The round of potential

Timocracy - Batista
Rock N Doc Connection - Doug Williams
This Is Domination - Mr. Anderson
FromTheBack - Abyss
The Nasty Boys - Christian
Power City - Ezeikel Jackson
FFS - D'Angelo Dinero
Team RoidTech - Ted DiBiase
Camp Cornette - The Miz

Here, people guessed at who the next big stars of 2010 will be. It remains to be seen who has 20:20 foresight, and who is like a mole with vision impairment, but there are some picks here that are asking to be ridiculed.

Best Pick: Batista

The man was picked last in this round and has had a rejuvination as a heel. Is he going to win the title? Maybe. Is he going to squash a lot of people? Absolutely.

Worst pick: Doug Williams

A man that is a current champion is always going to be a pitfall, and one dirty win over Shannon Moore isn't the kind of form leading into a big year. Predicting the future is a difficult thing, and I imagine that at least one of the picks from the first three rounds will get released, but Williams fading into obscurity within a month or two is a nigh on certainty.

Round 3 - The round of flawed performers

Timocracy - Samoa Joe
Rock N Doc Connection - Daniel Bryan
This Is Domination - Rob Van Dam
FromTheBack - John Morrison
The Nasty Boys - Kofi Kingston
Power City - Big Show
FFS - Robert Roode
Team RoidTech - Sheamus
Camp Cornette - R-Truth

All of these men could go on to greatness this year, but they could equally crash and burn more spectacularly than Shelton Benjamin in a ladder match.

Best Pick - Weeeeelllll it's the Big Show. Big Show will earn Power City big points, because unlike everyone else on the list, he wins every week on TV. He may lose on PPV a lot, but so do all of the others here, with the exception of Roode, who is in the tag division at present.

Worst pick - None stand out. Bryan may have been losing a lot, and Samoa Joe may have disappeared but them coming good is nigh on certainties. I have to pick one though, and I'm going to say Kingston. His push seems to have cooled a bit, and we need to wait and see how long this lull will last.

Round 4 - The round of risk

Timocracy - Michelle McCool
Rock N Doc Connection - Rey Mysterio
This Is Domination - James Storm
FromTheBack - Desmond Wolfe
The Nasty Boys - Matt Morgan
Power City - Jack Swagger
FFS - Jeff Hardy
Team RoidTech - Sting
Camp Cornette - Maryse

Be it through drugs busts (Hardy), being women (McCool, Maryse), being overlooked (Storm, Wolfe, Swagger), being away a lot (Sting, Mysterio) or just being shit (Morgan), each of these picks may find their ring time at a low throughout 2010. The skill here was picking the one who was least likely to arse it up.

Best Pick: Jack Swagger. Drafted round 4, already World Champion.

Worst pick: Maryse. The Raw writers plans for the women's division consist of non title matches where the face wins, ten diva tag matches, where the face wins, some sort of shit battle royal where the face wins, and waiting until Melina isn't injured, when she wins. Women should have been avoided at all costs this early, unless they're boning the Undertaker.

Round 5 - Pick someone that we've discussed at some point

Timocracy - Angelina Love
Rock N Doc Connection - Chris Sabin
This Is Domination - Beth Phoenix
FromTheBack - Hernandez
The Nasty Boys - The Undertaker
Power City - Wade Barrett
FFS - Jeff Jarrett
Team RoidTech - Rob Terry
Camp Cornette - Kaz

Just pick anybody. ANYBODY!!! That appears to have been the motto going into this round, so you see the rookies who may get pushed - Wade and Rob - alongside the old timers that do well when they're around - Jarrett and Taker. Still, there appears to have been some method to the madness.

Best pick - It might have been Undertaker, but he looks certain to be out for a while. Kaz is obviously winning the X-Division title at some stage, but that often counts for nothing, so I'm going to say Hernandez. He's obviously going to be getting some kind of push in some division, probably tag, probably with Homicide, but he looks good for a title.

Worst pick - Chris Sabin. When will people learn that the MCMG are never going to get pushed as long as bigger teams are around, which will be forever.

Round 6 - Who's left? They'll do

Timocracy - Daniels/TBA
Rock N Doc Connection - DH Smith
This Is Domination - Tyson Kidd
FromTheBack - Hulk Hogan
The Nasty Boys - Eric Young
Power City - Dolph Ziggler
FFS - Yoshi Tatsu
Team RoidTech - Dave Otunga
Camp Cornette - Cody Rhodes

Desperation throughout as people pick anyone who might have ever had a mini push. There was a hilarious moment when someone picked a free agent, but I assume NorCal is nice enough to let them pick again. If he isn't, serves them right.

Best pick - DH Smith. Smith is the one more likely to win the singles match in the feud. Kidd is a good pick though, as they are evidently in line to rise up the tag division. They've already overtaken Cryme Tyme.

Worst pick - Daniels, obviously, but otherwise Hulk Hogan. Highly unlikely to return to full time ring action, and I don't think a three monthly marquee PPV win will get enough points to be worth it at this level. A huge gamble, that isn't worth taking in my opinion.

Round 7 - Free for all

Timocracy - TBA
Rock N Doc Connection - Layla
This Is Domination - Matt Hardy
FromTheBack - TBA
The Nasty Boys - TBA
Power City - Brother Ray
FFS - Tara
Team RoidTech - Shad Gaspard
Camp Cornette - Justin Gabriel

People where allowed to pick whoever they wanted this round, and Cornette got in with a good pick early. Those who have picked early have gotten reasonably decent performers at this level, and Shad may prove to be a revelation. Suprised nobody has taken the gamble on Nash yet, and Devon is an obvious option.

Best pick - Brother Ray. All but guaranteed a title reign, guaranteed to feature on TV regularly, normally winning, never going to split.

Worst pick - Matt Hardy. He loses a lot, and is hardly ever on PPV. I suspect there will be a worse pick made at some stage.

Draft league table

Best pick earns 2 points, worst pick earns - 2, no pick made is -1, unmentioned pick 1 point

1. Power City 10 points Best Pick - Swagger
2. Team RoidTech 7 points Best Pick- McIntyre
3. Timocracy 5 points Best Pick- John Cena
3. This Is Domination 5 points Best Pick- Tyson Kidd
5. Camp Cornette 4 points Best Pick- The Miz
5. FFS 4 points Best Pick- Jeff Hardy
7. FromTheBack 3 points Best Pick- Desmond Wolfe
8. The Nasty Boys 2 points Best Pick- Matt Morgan
8. Rock N Doc Connection 2 points Best Pick- DH Smith

Tasty, that was a damn fine waste of unimportant time, and useless thought processing. I enjoyed it as well.

Can't say I agree with your take on Punk being the worst overall 1st round pick, when he's likely to be the top feud with Edge over the Summer. (assuming Edge ends Snaggletooth's laughable title reign soon.)

Overall, the main thing I disagree with is your entire take on Round 2.

1. Best pick couldn't possibly be Batista, as he's likely to drop out of the Main Event by May-June. And where he goes from there, barring a trip to Smackdown, is unknown. IF he stays around, he will win tv matches - and even some ppv matches. But more so than the likes of Abyss, Mr. Anderson, Dinero, or the Miz? No.

2. Worst pick - Doug Williams? The guy is the current X-Division Champion, and I'm unsure if you watch TNA or not.. but they're actually pushing him! They even renamed him, slightly, and gave him a catchy surname. Will he lose the title shortly? I would say yes. But thats in a month, maybe even longer. He's giving his team points for that title, and his wins on iMPACT!

On the opposite side of things, you have Big Zeke. Uhm, is he even still WITH the Company? Because he hasn't been featured to my knowledge on any shows. Not even Superstars has him. SO, you claim a current Champion - who's been winning on weekly tv events, and retained last ppv, is a worse pick than a guy who has no direction currently, isn't being featured on television, and may not even be brought back until they can "repackage him"?

I think you simply overlooked Zeke being one of the picks. Or assumed being the "last" ECW Champion will mean something. (its doing Rhino a lot of good in TNA right now)

Well, obviously I'm alittle biased. Punk's name was a case of picking a name out of a hat to be honest with you, there was a couple. It won't be a bad pick, by any stretch of the imagination, but I can't see him in the main event in the immediate future. Like I said though, I wouldn't consider it a bad pick.

Zeke was on Smackdown beating jobbers until his father died just before WrestleMania. I fancy he'll be back soon enough doing the same thing. As for Williams, I have about three weeks of unwatched Impact saved on my TV, but I have been reading the results. It's obvious he's being pushed now, but the fact of the matter is that he will drop the title in a month or two, then disappear without a trace. I think the jury is out on Zeke, particularly as his career has mirrored Sheamus' to date.
