BT putting pressure on Mitrovic

"You're playing Arsenal a big team and making your home debut. When you go out and there's that roar will you feel the pressure?"

""I'm ready, trust me." was his response.

Legend.

So I was sat here 15 minutes ago and thought to myself

"Wonder how long it'll be before Mitrovic gets sent off this season. I'll guess 10 games"

I don't think the pen was a pen as it was clearly an accident.

That Sanchez tackle should have been a yellow by the other cards he's given out.

You can tell it's been a mental season when I think we've had a good start yet third bottom.

Some of the results have been crazy.

Makes me wonder if Swansea beating United tomorrow would actually be considered an upset or if the reverse is true. Looking forward to seeing Herrera in the number 10 role.

Looking forward just to seeing Herrera play from the start.

I might love Herrera.

...

I fucking love Herrera.

If I didn't have Shaw, Ayew and Gomis in my fantasy team I'd probably be more upset at the result today. Still, Swansea aren't the worst side to have as your bogey team but the thought of selling Chicharito without bringing in striking reinforcements is terrifying.

In other news Newcastle had scouting reports on both Ayew and Gomis in 2014 and Alan Pardew stated he didn't want to sign them.

Hindsight is 20/20. I thought he said he wanted Gomis along with Remy too in 2014. Ayew and Gomis could just as easily bombed in Pardew's system like Cabella too.

Nobody signed Ayew last season too because he was in the last year of his contract and would have demanded massive amount of wages in addition to a transfer fee. Newcastle went with the cheap options in Cabella and De Jong.

Pardew only crime was being Ashley's Yes man. Move on man. Pardew sure did with Palace and Cabaye. ;)

Man U have bought a player for £36million who's scored 9 goals last season.

Madness.

You can't defend the money spent on Martial. Under any circumstances. He has a pretty poor track record in French football when you consider how much United are spending. Any more than 15m is a gamble.

Yet it's the Man U fans who mock Man City and Chelsea over money.

LVG saying there would be no panic buying after the Swansea loss, is the biggest lie since the Man United fans saying they never wanted Pedro anyway.

Not really defending it but the rules for United have changed dramatically over the last couple of years given how insane their levels of income are. The kid could flop hard, United take a huge loss in his next transfer but 36million is a relative drop in the bucket to them now. For maybe just under half the number of teams in the PL, 36 million is above or on par with their transfer kitty. Just the way it is.

The point I was alluding to is that we've sold De Gea and Chicharito for approximately 37 million and brought in Navas and Martial for 36 million, so we're coming out (marginally) ahead money wise. There is obviously a long-term concern about Martial and Van Gaal given that VG is likely to only be around for another full season and Martial will have 3 more years to go on his current contract.

I won't lie, it's a bit disheartening that they are now a money cannon when it comes to transfers and don't seem that interested in getting a decent return all the time - RVP and Nani for a combined 8.1 million is ridiculous - so hopefully the post-LVG era isn't as frivolous with money.

At least people have seen the boy play in person, unlike Bebe.

He scored the same amount of goals in the French league last year as Cisse did in the PL. £36million.
