But I already posted some info. which shows that it is almost the same in terms of competition for places in Europe, Relegation and even at the top...
lulz.
Let's be serious, only ManCity and Chelsea had a chance once the Summer TW was over.
Arsenal are Arsenal, ManU had too many new players and they are obviously still bedding in, and Lpool lost their best player during the summer and started badly as a result.
In the past decade, only 3 Prem teams have won the league which is the same as in La Liga.
But, more Spanish teams have competed in UCL than Prem teams, as I already pointed out.
Actually, the Prem seems to put in the same 4 teams every year, with Lpool jumping in sometimes. Spurs have only got in once, and look out of the running this year again.![]()
The Sunderland saga:
Shit result at home > sack manager > hire manager > beat Newcastle > just stay up > spend loads on shit players > start season badly > get 2 decent results > lose form > shit result at home > sack manager...
lol wat. I cant stand liverpool but they dont jump in sometimes, it was the Big 4 of Chelsea, Arsenal, United & Liverpool. Then City got money and Liverpool lost the plot

Барбоса;5152301 said:How is it "propaganda" when I have seen it with my own eyes? Barcelona and Real winning easily playing at half-pace against the majority of La Liga.
Admittedly, that is me watching on Sky Sports who are part of the anti-European UK media cabal, doctoring live footage and in no way fawn over La Liga in their coverage so much that it becomes sickening, despite how the match they are covering was a walk in the park/complete shite.
To be honest, I think the championship is the more competitive league at the moment. Lead changes almost every other week.
What is then? I don't think you actually know what competitive means.
Actually, I agreed with Alastor on that one... I just found it funny also.
(or does the Thumbs Up on it not register??)
It's not a thumbs up, it's a finger pointing at the above opinion and laughing at it.

So you agree they need continuity yet think they should sack a manager who has the team playing well just because they didn't win a trophy in his first season. So next year when the next manager tries to bring in new ideas changes things and doesn't win anything in his first season either because he also had a slow start will you want him sacked too?As I said, IF Barca were to go trophyless, LE would be given the boot, whether he has them playing 'well' or not.
Then you don't understand what in house is. In house is when you promote someone who is already working for the club. The term "in house" comes from the fact that the whole process is kept "in house" and you don't have to go outside the club when looking for a new manager. But, Enrique is "in house" regardless of him coaching elsewhere. He is a Barca Legend and a former Captain of the club. He is 'in house' as you can get, actually.
Im not even going to dignify this with a response if your going to compare a staged television show to an athletic competition. No one is saying these other guys will be the next Guardiola, but many have a tendency to try things again and again when it hit the jackpot once... as a Wrestling fan, you should know that with all the Heel Authority figures that come up again and again in the WWE.![]()
I do agree that we are building and that has been encouraging this season, but still, being a West Indies fan, I know that as long as the "Head" is bad, it trickles down to the other parts.
Alcaraz is a donkey.

I mean you either want continuity or you don'tSacking managers every year because they don't provide instant success is incredibly short sighted. Madrid chopped and changed managers ever yeary after Del Bosque left in 2003 and it didn't get them very far.

Luis Enrique was working for Celta vigo and not Barcelona before he became Barcelona manager therefore he is not an "in house" appointment.

If Messi want's enrique gone then the board will get rid of him to keep messi happy. But that may not be the case now that the team is playing well, is top of the league, in the quarter finals of the champions league and in the copa del ray final. Even if they club doesn't win anything this year the team is going in the right direction. Who's to say the next manager won't piss off messi either, or try to change things too much.
