Goals galore in the Champions League this morning. Aguero' saved Man City's ass while DROGGGGGBAAAAAAAA scores again.

Leo Messi breaks the UCL ALL-TIME Scoring Record with a hat-trick, to follow up claiming the LA LIGA ALL-TIME Scoring Record during the weekend, also with a hat-trick.

Messi in 2014(Club & Country) = 55 Goals, 20+ assists.
Ronaldo in 2014(Club & Country) = 54 Goals, 15+ assists.

*Messi played slightly more games ;)

Not saying that Messi has been better, but I feel that the media has mislead many by making it seems as though Messi has been far behind Ronaldo when actually it has come down like the last few years, to who had the better team with them.

No offense larisano but i couldnt give two fucks about messi, ronaldo and the rest of the La Liga. The coverage over here is terrible, players roll aroud on the ground for 70% of the match and the commentary is utter crap that makes me want to listen to Ned Zelic.

La Liga and it's records can fuck off, it's only moderately more competitive than Scottish football was in the 2000's. Messi & Ronaldo wouldn't score anywhere near as many in England.

Funny enough, the same Messi and Ronaldo also dominate the UCL Scoring charts year in, year out also.... actually setting records in the process

Many EPL fans never cease to amaze me after all these years.

Listen to the negative comments he makes in that thick accent despite being Australian, that was when he worked for SBS. He has since moved on to Fox Sports Australia and has chosen to be overly enthusiastic while maintaining the accent and lines like "flair and individual brilliance". Its completely stupid. Last week he was carrying on about how his fellow commentator liked rainbows and I think vineyards because of a comment about the sunsetting over the stadium. It pisses most off and makes everyone else laugh at how stupid he is. And as shit as Zelic is I'd rather listen to that than La Liga commentary we get in Australia(which I assume would be the same as the UK at least).

Suarez scored goals for fun in England but can't buy a goal in La Liga.

Aguero is scoring goals for fun for Citeh.

Diego Costa is scoring at a ridiculous rate for Chelsea in the league but not in Europe.

Say one more negative thing about Diego Costa and I'll red rep you till you have the confidence of Soldado.

Ronaldo and Messi would score goals at a ridiculous rate anywhere they go but I do think the tally would be less in England. In England, the top teams are less feared and that would exist even with these two. Also, without the Barca/Madrid rivalry I'm not sure these two would be as motivated/inclined to score so many goals.

My point is the records are devalued because of the lack of competition in Spain. Real and Barca's squads are ridiculous and vastly better and more expensive than anything else in that league, it's Rangers and Celtic all over again.
It's a hell of a lot easier to score 50+ goals in a league when you totally outclass the opposition in every aspect. Take Ronaldo and Messi out of those teams, put in the far more competitive English league and neither would hit 40.

Ronaldo and Messi continue to not only trade scoring records in La Liga, but also in UCL where they are now in the middle of trying to see who will end up as the ALL-Time UCL Top Scorer.

To besides, neither Real nor Barca won La Liga last season in any case. And the team that did, also went to the UCL Final a year after winning the Europa League.

To besides, aren't Chelsea running away with the Prem this year? I love the delusion of the Prem having these otherworldly defences, yet there have been so many people at the higher levels of football(players, coaches, etc.) who have basically came out and said that Messi and Ronaldo are on a level of their own and their dominance of all levels of club football confirms that.
