How do you intentionally handle the ball when you're turned away and can't actually see where the ball is going?

Thats the point though, you cant just turn your back on the play and foolishly leave your arm dangling about. The exact same shit got called at the WC in Netherlands/Australia game and that time the defender was just caught swinging his arm back while running. Today/tonight(depending where you are) the defender knew was legit trying to block and then left out an arm, it was even a little out it was at least 45 degrees out from his arm

There's nothing about leaving your arm dangling about in the rules. The rule is that you can't use your arm to block the ball. Like you said, he left his arm dangling, he didn't stretch it out to try and stop the ball.

Plus it was the 98th* minute or something.

*possible exaggeration.

My head is telling me United will buy a decent centre half and sort themselves out and still challenge the top 4. My heart is telling me they'll spunk £20 million on someone average like Ron Vlaar, and rely on Adnan '4 good games out of 10' Januzaj to come good, and they'll go full Liverpool under Souness.

The way today's gone Palace winning today wouldn't surprise me at all.
