Domestic football - spam version

Actually, speaking of overrated Spurs/former Spurs players, are we finally ready to admit that Bale is pretty good, or are our heads still in the sand on that subject? I've lost track.

Don't expect any objective opinion on Spurs or former Spurs players on this forum. For reasons I don't understand, they seem to be hated in here.

I rate Bale as above RVP but below Suarez and Yaya Toure as the best players of the league in recent years.

But then again I thought Southampton and Liverpool would struggle this year and Man Citeh and Chelsea to run away with the title by now so....

If he wasn't injured so much he'd easily be up there. Injuries have caused a high level of inconsistency.

Stupid New Zealand trying to park the bus from the 1st minute. Deservedly hammered 5-1 by Mexico, lucky it wasn't more.

So Arsenal/Sothampton amde me realise how many Arsenal/Southampton players I have in my fantasy squad (6)

AH BBC:

However, with Liverpool striker Luis Suarez partnered up front by Paris St-Germain's £55m striker Cavani, they were always likely to have too much firepower for the Middle East nation.

The score was 0-0.

Wait, is Suarez actually injured or is he overselling as usual?

Edit: Never mind, he's back on the field. Overselling, so.

Very surprised that Mirallas was not sent off today. Should have been a straight card for that "tackle" on Suarez and then a second yellow in the second half for any number of things.

Thought Liverpool's style of play was good up to a point but the constant passing, especially in the second half, dragged our own players out of position and left us open to the counterattack. In many ways, we were lucky to come away with a point.

Buggering fuck. I was messing around with my striker combinations earlier and settled on getting rid of Giroud for Remy instead of Sturridge for Lukaku.

Suarez, Remy and Giroud was my strike force.

Newcastle United score from a corner.

Rooney should have been sent off.
Cleverley and Fellaini seem unsure as to where the centre of the field is.
Why the fuck aren't United playing it up the right when Cardiff are putting Januzaj and Evra under constant pressure?

So far, 2-1 is a minor miracle and I wouldn't mind seeing Anderson replace Cleverley later on this half. He may be a bit tubby and lost looking, but he can do more than pass it sideways and then run into stupid positions.
