Domestic football - spam version

Looking forward to Asian betting next season.
In Hokkien dialect
Blue = lan
Bird = Jiao

Lanjiao means penis in Hokkien. Lots of penis joke next year.

PFA Awards will be interesting to see just how caught up in the media buzz the players are.

Somewhat shocked that Michu did not get a nomination but then again he plays for an "unfashionable" club. As I always think defenders are given short shift from such awards, I would probably have had Vertonghen in my shortlist too ahead of Carrick and Hazard.

The other four - RVP, Suarez, Bale and Mata - I would agree with. Of course, the winner will be wrong.

Bale has had moments of brilliance this season, more than he had last but his problems with consistency still linger - he is either man of the match or might as well be in the stands. He will still win it though due to his Britishness and his club.

RVP has been the difference between Utd and City this season but he has largely disappeared in 2013 so that should disqualify him from winning but he is the most likely challenger to Bale.

Suarez should win the Player of the Year - the most consistent attacker in the league and currently its top scorer and to be honest, it isn't even close - but he won't because he is Luis Suarez, doesn't play for Spurs or Utd and isn't Gareth Bale.

Juan Mata is probably the only player on the list that can match Suarez for consistency this season - goals and plenty of assists.

I'd agree with that. Mata would be my pick just behind Suarez.Bale, van Persie have been good but haven't shown up across the whole season.

Luis has been average recently, really hopes he shows up today.

As glad as I am that we equalised as I thought we more than merited a point, in one moment of madness, Suarez has managed to override all the good he has done this season.

10 game ban is required at the minimum.

You sell for say £40mil. You buy one or two forwards and use the rest for the squad building because we wont go anywhere near the top four without another top quality CB and DM.

The more we get, the better we can be going forward. Attackers are way overvalued in the transfer market and even if he was to be banned, his rep wouldnt have a great effect on his value. His stock is high and may never get higher. I can't say anymore that his value to the team outweighs his issues.

I dunno, id want around 50 million for him, he's got 4 years left on his contract come the summer and he hasn't given any indication that he wants to leave(yet).
I mean look what happened that last time we got 50 million to spend. If we got 40-50 million for him in the summer then everyone would just put up their prices once we came calling as they know weve got a load of money sitting in our account. Let's not forget our manager spunked 10 million on Borini and 15 million on Joe Allen.

It's easy to say let's go and buy a top CB and 2 top forwards but actually getting the players is the hard part. Were not that attractive of a club anymore, we don't have european football to offer and weve been cutting our wage bill meaning were less likely to offer players big wages to come to us. We can't compete with other clubs for the top players and if we sell Suarez we won't get anyone near his level.

I agree the squad needs improving but someone of Luis'es quality is irreplaceable. We should hold onto him as long as we can. People are just overeacting to the English media hyperbole. Why should we sell him after a biting incident? we bought him after a biting incident in the first place ffs.

Suarez will be gone this summer.
Can't see him staying without European football or challenging for a domestic title when he is one of the most in form player in the world these past few years.

My guess is he will be going to Citeh to replace Tevez who will return to Argentina due to homesickness or something.

I don't think he will go this summer, he's given no indication that he wants to go and signed a 5 year contract at the start of the season. Pretty much the complete opposite of what someone would do if they had any thoughts of leaving.
At least if he were to leave it wouldn't be to another English club, why would he bother staying in England where he's public enemy number 1 and end up pissing off the only fans who still support him these days when he could go to Munich, PSG, Juventus etc.

Suarez isn't leaving and he isn't getting sold. He signed a big 4 year deal and the higher ups at Liverpool have even stated that the incident would have no bearing on his future. He's a really good player, he just happens to let his emotions get the best of him at times. I never played soccer, but, I have competed in almost every other sport and I know that some times you just get riled up in the moment, this is his second offense so I'm sure that he won't do anything like this again at least not while he's still with Liverpool

It's the third offence in his career though and FSG are very well aware of the importance of resale value. He doesnt want to go but he may not have a choice.

I don't know what is going to happen but I think FSG will decide shortly, dependant on the inevitable massive ban that is coming. It's going to be a make or break summer for us, even more important than it was going to be.

No love for the impressive run Kidderminster Harriers had this season??

After failing to secure a win in the first ten games I nearly sawed my on foot off. And yet here we are, after holding top spot for a while finding ourselves in the playoffs for a promotion. Jolly good, I say.

Ian Ayre came out and said in the last two days that he won't be sold though. Anyway why sell him this summer when his stock is at an all time low in the wake of this "scandal". We were able to get him at a cheap price in the first place because he had just bitten Bakkal's ear and his reputation was damaged. Makes more sense to hold onto him for another year at least and build his reputation back with good performances.
Then if he has another good season the massive offers will start to come in.

How come you support Kidderminster of all teams?

I see Gillingham are top of league 2, Miko must be rocking a semi at the moment.

Why get rid of him though? Sure he's made some bad decisions but the only players in the entire league that have played better then he has this season are Bale and van Persie. It's no way to get his worth at this point.

I think he's played even better the Bale and Van Persie this season, he doesn't have the luxury of playing in the best team in Engalnd like Van persie and has played consistently well for the entire season unlike Bale.

Anyway i don't think we should sell him this season and the only reason i think he will go next season is because he will want to go. He's proven himself to be a world class performer and deserves to be playing at the highest level competing for league titles and European trophies. At the moment we are miles away from making the top 4 and light years away from challenging for the league. He's got 4 years left on his contract and we won't win the league in that time period, therefore you have to think he's going to want to leave before those 4 years are up.
By the end of next season if he has a good year we will be able to get the maximum amount of money we can. We are better off taking 40-50 million for him at that stage rather then letting him run his contract down and having to settle for considerably less.

So who would you try to pick up with the money that we get from him

Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld, Dede, Loic Remy, Tom Ince, Christian Tello, Luke Shaw. For a start. Ashley Williams wouldnt be terrible for less than 6mil either.

How come you support Kidderminster of all teams?

Outside of their heart, bravery, and passionate fanbase? Two reasons:

1) They may have lead me to believe their team anthem was UB40's version of "can't help falling in love", and it very well might be....

2) I thought they had the best symbol in one of the early LMA manager games on playstation. I had never been much into football before, but this team gave me a foothold.

They never did turn out as good as my team in LMA, but they have Harry the Harrier as a mascot, and thats good enough.

Shocked ye guys are wittling on about some premier league cannibal when stockport fans litterally assaulted the Kidderminster team Mid-Match this weekend, simply from the figurative beating they were recieving. HAVE SOME PERSPECTIVE. #premierleagueproblems
