FERGIE TIME - Man Utd 1-2 Man City

We are into stoppage-time now, as Pablo Zabaleta is booked for a foul on Ashley Young. Shinji Kagawa is on as well, replacing Young.

:lmao:

Last season would be nothing in comparison to the glory of United losing the league this time. Unfortunately it's not happening but I'll settle for them losing at home in the biggest game of their season, oh and being robbed in the Champions league.

I would say that our biggest games of the season, if we don't cock it up now, were away at Chelsea and City earlier on in the season. Those games were both crucial for United getting to the summit and at grounds we have had mixed fortunes on.

Would have been nice to beat city yesterday though.

I've been ill all week but have tickets for tonight. Woke up fine and dandy this morning.

Any reason why Sunderland aren't wearing their away kit instead of very similar white shirts with dark stripes, dark shorts and dark socks?

When the play moves at any pace or at corners, I haven't a notion who is who

Say what you will about Di Canio, I'm aware of his Facism and all, but he is a character. The possibility of having him and Mourinho managing in England next year makes me laugh.

I cried.
Cisse was onside.
Their third was off.
We were shit.
Gouffran off for Ameobi? Is Pardew fucking mental?
We don't know what a midfield is.
The mackems were the better team.

Cisse's Goal was definitely onside, feeling hard done by would be an understatement in this instance. But, as you've said, the mackems were the better side. Nothing could've been done about the Johnson goal. Krul injury was unfortunate. Unfortunately Lee, looks like Sunderland came to play.

I'll sympathise with you, as I had to watch another episode of "Keeper's best 90 Minutes of His Career Against Liverpool!"

Plenty could of been done about the Johnson goal, like "don't let him waltz straight at the heart of the defence - GO AND FUCKING TACKLE HIM."

As for the onside/offside decisions, Di Canio is a genius for having his team wearing the same style of kit as Newcastle - paid dividends.

Wigan are in Europe next season. That actually makes me feel sick.

For the record:

As a guide, the 20 arrests made at the away game last October were reported only in the context of alleged racist abuse, while the 36 arrests on wearside in January 2011 and 29 there back in October 2008 attracted no more than one line mentions in the national press.

It's obviously a bit unfair, as Man United and to a lesser extent Newcastle and Arsenal generally have much more fans present than any other team, but it is interesting a bit. Most stereotypes confirmed - Fulham have the cleanest fans, Liverpool have most ticket touting, Chelsea are the most racist, Luton have more than double the arrests for violence than the rest of the Conference put together. etc.

No I'm saying it happens all the time around the country. Leeds will tell you that.

I'm sure there'll be more than that at the witches funeral tomorrow.

Mario Gomez hit a late hat-trick as newly-crowned Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich hammered Wolfsburg 6-1 to reach the DFB-Pokal final - with Gomez scoring three in the space of just six minutes.

6 minutes :worship:
