Funkay must be chuffed after McNamaras first win. Just a shame it was against a third tier side.

Oh it made my day to see us duff Rangers, not concede a goal and have two of their players sent off. Excellent. Oh and Dave, I'm just pleased Sheffield United were the only team to put in a bid for Russell, and a wholly underwhelming one at that.

The floodlights going off was amusing. Senderos' comedy defending was too. Fulham were unlucky to lose in the end.

It looked great on the TV when it happened. I was expecting either the Undertaker or the Shield. My oooooooh yeeeeeees got a few laughs in the pub.

Man I would have cracked up if he had done his throat cutting taunt to Fergie, who just tells him to fuck off and gives him the ol Glasgow kiss.

Taker stays down for eternity, aka, Fergie Time.

Waiting for Ming to complain about the Colo challenge yet not mention the Ramieres two footed one on Jonas just before that.

There was nothing wrong with Colloccini's challenge. He had his eyes on the ball and nothing else. Sometime you get hurt when you put your face in there. A penalty? Perhaps. A red card or similar? No fucking way!

One last stat: NUFC’s starting line up today cost approximately £47.1m - Fernando Torres cost £50m. Liverpool used the £35mil to buy Carroll and we used the £35 mil to buy half of the players who started today.

It won't be that high profile, it'll be a team like Cluj or something bending over for Man United or Chelsea or something in the group stage. The English team won't have been involved, and it would be a margin of victory thing.

Sturridge is very quickly proving my doubts wrong. Now all Liverpool need is a modicum of consistency and a decent Goalkeeper and they might do alright. Reina's always been overrated shit, except now Liverpool fans are finally seeing what the rest of the world has been able to see for years. Best keeper in Europe? With Casillas and Buffon out there? Good lord.

That's a letdown, I know it wont be but I am holding out a small fools hope for the Chelsea/Barca match, even I think that the most fixed, biased, disgrace to football, pandering to the favourites pile of shite I've ever seen. I've just never said so before because Ming genuinely scares me.

Reina's never been world class but he's gotten a lot worse then he used to be in the last 18 months. Although the defense has also gotten weaker in that time.
Id be delighted if we sold him to Barca in the summer, lot's of good goalkeepers around europe that could be gotten for a decent price.

In regards to the match fixing the game played on English soil has to be the Chelsea v Nordsjaelland game surely? Torres scoring? Twice? It's like they are not even trying to cover their tracks.

Any of the times the likes of Arsenal or Liverpool put 8 (eight) past someone would seem suspect.

Sick of these statistics - I get it - Torres was/is a waste of money. A tremendous waste.

Not really all that bothered about Newcastle winning. As I've said previously, I've written the season off. Coloccini's challenge was an obvious penalty but I've not seen the Ramires challenge. Delighted with quality of the goals, Frank's clearly still got it, and Mata is just outstanding. Not expecting anything more than a top four finish. This sort of consistent incompetence was expected the second Benitez was appointed.

Sacking Di Matteo has set Chelsea back a season. And unless Mourinho's appointed next year, Chelsea's forseeable future is a cloudy one, indeed.
