Don't do drugs.

Did you watch the Liverpool showing against Manchester United, totally dominated that game for the majority of it. Like i said lacking a good consistant finisher, is really hurtingour chances. With a bit of luck and continued progress with a bit more tightening up in defence. Liverpool can make the top 6.
Not to mention the faith Brendan Rodgers has shown in the young guys is great to see, namely Raheem Sterling and Suso.

We (yes, I'm a Liverpool fan) need more than a finisher. Our defense is horrible, our midfield is inconsistent, our sole striker scores once every now and then and much like Norwich, may score a couple on a given day, but once again he is inconsistent.

Pepe Reina isn't to blame either. Hes been off, but when he has a defense who can't seem to keep the ball away from him, he's going to let in goals. We played well against Manchester United in the first half, horrible in the second. We played horrible against Stoke, Sunderland and Manchester City; asides from Norwich we've basically played horrible.

I get it, we're changing mentality and It'll take time, I'm giving Brendan Rodgers patience, but instead of even assuming we're still a good team I've came to realize the fact many delusional Liverpool fans refuse to - we're shit! We're shit compared to what we used to be, shit compared to what we should be and shit as we are.

Why? Poor managers, owners who aren't committing enough money to the club and the biggest issue of all, disgustingly poor dealings in the transfer market. We've £20 million Jordan Henderson sitting on the bench, £35 million Andy Carroll on loan and one first team recognizable striker.

We're shit, don't color it any other way.

I'm with you on a lot of stuff don't get me wrong. Kenny Dalglish came in and absolutely fucked shit up with his transfers. Money thrown at people like Downing, Carroll, Henderson and Charlie Adam. Look at them now, either transferred to another team or barely making the starting 11. I am merely basing my discussion in comparison to our season last year which was abysmal. The future is looking up for Liverpool honestly, just have to be patient even though being without a premier league title for this long is certainly annoying.

While I agree with the defence being dodgy at times and our attack not producing the goals it should, when it comes to general play, you and I must be watching a different team at times, Dragon.

We most certainly did not play shit against City. In fact for the vast majority, we made the league champions look decidedly ordinary. Similar story against United, we made them look awful for an hour and still held our own with ten men. Against Stoke and Sunderland, we dominated the vast majority of the games but just could not get a winner. That is four games we should and would have won with a little luck.

Is it disappointing and even a little worrying that we did not? Of course but that does not equate to us being "shit." While you may not like falling back on such an excuse, Liverpool are most certainly a "work in progress" and I think that despite the lack of return in terms of points, I think the signs are good, especially from the young lads.

I'll say I may have exaggerated when using the word "shit," but we aren't too many steps above it. Since 2008 our team has changed so much, in almost every aspect, and it does equate to "shit," there's no point of coloring it any other way.

I was listening to Ray Houghton, Jason McAteer and John Barnes talk about the club last Monday evening and they even conceded that maybe it's time people recognize the fall from grace. One positive is the young squad members being handed chances, something not even Rafa did well - unless someone wants to recognize Neil Mellor as a success /sarcasm - but asides from that, this season has been another disappointment.

I realize it's a work in progress, Rodgers has my backing, I'm happier he got the job than Martinez; although personally I wanted Rafa back. But I'm so tired of Liverpool fans saying we're "one or two players from being great" because we're not, more like seven or eight players from being top four contenders.

Cisse, Ba and Tiote witness mass riots, burning terraces, mobs of angry fans in rages of pure anger and hatred at losing heavily to local rivals in a town of mass desolation, poverty and disease.......Oh wait....thats next Sunday

The England "game". What a disaster.

On the plus side, I've now learned that if you have a roof and it's forecast to rain heavily, close the fucker. How on earth you can look at a forecast that says heavy rain and not think "Gee, maybe we should really close that roof. Don't want the game to get called off or anything"? Idiots.

Despite our dreadful campagin start, I wouldn't sack Levein. It's a step backwards in my opinion. Only if we ultimately finish in the bottom three would I sack him. We need a long term manager at the moment to see us through the current crop of players.

Even though Wales are bloody awful, and have been this entire qualification campaign, I knew Wales were going to beat Scotland.

Does diving irritate anyone anymore?

Felix Baumgartner's freefall has broken the previous world record, overtaking Rangers' descent to the fourth tier of Scottish football.

And Liverpool finally gets their deserved win. About damn time!

That game really showcased how much we need a clinical, definite finisher infront of goal. All the chances and opportunities are there they just need to be put away.

On a sidenote, goddamn Juan Mata is so good. Real talent that bloke.

I did.

So, those of you who frequent my life will be aware that I'm a student teacher. One of the children said this, upon discovering that I support Liverpool:

"Apparently if you win a trophy with Liverpool on FIFA 13, it makes the picture go black and white..."

So I gave him the cane.
