More comfortable than Liverpool but not as much as Wigan. Twas a decent game overall but Rooney didn't deserve the MOTM award at all. Aside from one great pass he did nothing of note.

Newcastle had a centre midfielder and RB, a RB at LB, someone back from injury and Mike Williamson.

Apparently young counts as make-shift now.

At this point I think De Gea is never going to escape his tag of 'accident prone' while he stays with United; he had a quiet game with some good distributive clearances, yet the commentators were bringing up his 'poor performance against Fulham' all the same. His double save against Galatasary pretty much gave us the win.
