Domestic football - spam version

I couldn't help but smile when a United fan, who was a grown man, took off his jersey, started crying and then left the pub. Contrast to their usual cockiness.

Zabaleta was superb today. Ryan Giggs was as absent as his own fidelity.

Zabaleta was really good, although I would say that there were a few times that he was caught too high up the pitch and had Utd any kind of zip to their game or the likes of Valencia on earlier, he could have been caught out. Indeed, City as a whole tended to overcommit somewhat in the latter stages.

That said, I thought 1-0 was generous to Utd. Not only was Giggs a non-event but so was Rooney. The only thing he did was get the excellent Kompany booked by kicking the bottom of his boot. While at the other end, Rio constantly had his hands full with Aguero, who combines pace, power, passing and movement to great effect.

I was so surprised that Valencia didn't start last night. He's been one of United's best out-ball options and is very disciplined at providing defensive cover too.

I couldn't bear to watch the game last night but from the stats and highlights I've seen it seems City deserved it. If City beat Newcastle on Sunday, I'd say the title is definitely theirs.

I wanted City to win last night, that means that they WILL be going into the last game of the season against QPR with something to play for, as a Bolton fan I hope they fucking smash QPR and send them down

Great header from Big Vinnie, one of the best signings in the league over the last few years for sure. Top player

I'm glad Boro did, can you imagine Boro and Wigan in the same league?

Drats. Modric just scored one of the goals of the season.
