It really depends on who is fit and in the first team but if it's purely about leadership I'd give it to Scott Parker. As far as definite first teamers I'd have Gerrard.

Messi went to Spain when he was really young. From what I know, Argentinians don't appreciate him because they don't consider him to be one of their own.

Couple that with the fact that he hasn't really reproduced his club form but that's because the players he has around him aren't Iniesta, Xavi etc.

That was an awesome game! As soon as United got 1 I knew they'd get another, but the game was so open I wouldn't have been surprised if it had ended 5-4, 6-3 or something. The substitution that changed the game was probably Sturridge coming off to be honest. Would have loved the Berb to come on instead of Park at the end though.
