I don't get it. It's just the fucking draw, why make it such a tv event??

I know.

Technical procedure?

Put balls in hat, pick some out.

Prediction:

Group A

Poland, Russia, Ireland, Greece

Group B

Holland, Germany, Croatia, Czech Republic

Group C

Spain, England, Portugal, France

Group D

Ukraine, Italy, Sweden, Denmark

Group A is a pile of garbage. When the best team in it is Russia...

Group B has a couple of real feisty local rivalries.

Group C sees the Republic with no chance.

Group D is decent enough for England. Sweden and France are nowhere near as good as they were about 10 years ago and the Ukraine are rubbish.

Interesting draw. Ireland could sneak in the back door if Italy make a pig's ear of another major tournament and Croatia fail to hit their stride. As for England. It's certainly more difficult than most groups England gets drawn in, but it isn't that hard. Oh, and Scotland could've had a solid chance of qualification if we were in the Czech's place. But, alas, no.

“He’s won five trophies. I could say I’ve got 16 or 17 years [experience] on him, but he’d say, 'Well I’ve won five trophies’. The Europa League, the league, the cup and whatever else he won at Porto."

Alan Pardew on AVB. :lmao:

From the sounds of it, the ref who only booked him made a big ol balls up on that.

I'm a massive massive fan of AVB - he could be incredible - but he left Porto too early.

Straight red to David Luiz, no fucking doubt about it.

FACT.

Their first goal, it was our throw in and the ref overuled the linesman.
We should have had a pen for the terry elbow on Ba.

End of the day though we wasted so many chances. Chelsea deserved the win but it wopuld have been a different game with 10 men after 4 minutes.

Mike Dean = paid off.

I remember watching the local news when I lived in Sheffield and there was an item dedicated to Garforth Town's signing of him on a one-off deal. It was a really nice piece and he came across as a lovely bloke. Rest in Peace.

Man that sucks but doesn't seem entirely unexpected given his lifestyle. Never saw him play as he was before my time but I've seen his episode of 'Football's Greatest' on Sky a few times and he seemed like a fantastic natural talent, especially as he drank, smoke and didn't train much but was still a central figure to one of the best teams the world's seen.
