Domestic football - spam version

I wouldn't say that they haven't played anyone yet, and to agree with you, if a team won all their games against teams in the bottom half, and drew their games with the teams that came 5th-10th, they'd quite comfortably get in the Champions League.

We'll not qualify for Europe but I'm enjoying it whilst we can. An 18 points like for like basis is something that's needed. If we get 2 points out of the next 3 I'll be a happy man.

There's something about a goal being score to literally no cheers that has an eeriness about it. I like it.

Some guy on twitter about Wigan's equaliser.

It was quite funny hearing them cheer when Hennesey saved the penalty then all of a sudden, silence.

Also, if the Premier League were based just on home form, Arsenal would be joint first with City. Woo!

6 points behind third? ;)

Bolton goal: People, check this one out on Match of the Day 2 later, it's got controversial written all over it. First Howard Webb rules that Glenn Whelan's wayward swipe back into the hands of Asmir Begovic in the Stoke goal is a back-pass, and the official then allows Ivan Klasnic to take it immediately, squaring to Kevin Davies to tap into an empty net before the Stoke defence have even trotted back into their own area.

Interesting

No, just seems rather harsh with it being about 3 mins played.

Come on Fulham!

Doesn't sound like anything wrong with the taking of the indirect free kick quickly

:suspic: I've already replied to this so why then pick the first thing I said and not the backup?

Yes for comments like this:
Former Tottenham manager David Pleat is at Craven Cottage for BBC Radio 5 live: "I haven't seen a game when Scott Parker and Luka Modric have been less influential for some while. Parker did take that blow in the face in the first half, of course."

Does he watch Spurs games? What about the Newcastle match? Modric was ineffective and Parker was ballet dancing in the middle.

Yup, doesnt help that their fans are ***** for the most part.

Although all football fans are *****, sorry, but if your a hardcore fan of a team then in the eyes of everybody else your a cunt, no fans endear themselves to anybody else, except for that bunch that got relegated but still unvieled a banner congratulating their opponents on promotion. Classy bunch.

What would you define as a hardcore fan?

I find that many a hardcore fan really does not know anything about football outside of their own club. They might be able to tell you the manager of their club in 1929 but not who plays their home games at Stamford Bridge. They are also less likely to actually know anything about the game itself and how it is played.

I think you have it mixed with football hooligan.

This + obligatory hating of your rivals just because, reffering to other teams as "scum" or anything else just because, hating a player just because he leaves your club, not recognising the fact that chances are your own team are a bigger bunch of wankers than most others.

As a singular person you might be one of the nicest people around, however, your collective group are seen as *****, because in large quantities most football fans of any team are *****, sometimes hilarious ones. It adds to the fun of the game.

If you haven't seen the Fulham game, be prepared for some of the worst cheating you've ever seen on a football pitch. Kyle Walker literally picked the ball up in his own penalty area.
