That'll be because he's basically a Celtic fan...now if only he could beat Rangers when it matters...

Good manager? He bought about half a squad that should've/could've won the league against the bankrupt Rangers and yet he still failed miserably and continues to do so at the moment with the title race nearly over despite the fact it's freaking October.

Oh, and how are Smith/Brown/Houston *****?

Hes got a cracking eye for a player. Also the fact that lot of rangers fans think the league is over makes me sure we will in it. Beat yous in games that matter. That was the first time we has lost or conceded a goal it ibrox in 18 months. We have a game in hand a 2 old firm games at park head we will come back were in a bit of a slump just now but i have no doubt we will go back to the form we had last season.

Walter smith showed what truly bitter bastard he is last season.

Peter houston after celtic beat them 2-0 said ye but we have the scottish cup what do celtic have? we had fucking second place the dick!

and craig brown he just looks like a cunt!

Curly doesn't support Rangers and Walter Smith's not a manager anymore.

Considering both Walter Smith and Craig Brown seem like perfect gentleman, I would say the animosity stems from them not working for Celtic. That is only speculation though.

As for Neil Lennon, as a fellow countryman of his I can firmly state that he is a total shit.

Well the 2-0 win over them at Ibrox in the new year was a match that really did matter, we had just came off 3 draws in a row at home against teams we should of beaten (It was that that really cost us the league) and if we lost that one then our season would of been preety much over.

And here was me thinking it was your failure to beat Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the last few days of the season that was to blame

Let's get our facts straight here. Rangers and Celtic are both horrible, horrible football clubs. Outside of their own fanbase, everyone hates them. Rangers are horribly bankrupt and yet they still ease to title wins because Celtic is a poorly managed team on the field. Lennon is terrible and the only reason he's still employed by Celtic football club is because he’s reached cult like status due to his former captaincy at the club. He’s got a great eye for players? What does that mean exactly? He can see talent? And that’s got him where exactly?

Walter Smith is disliked by Celtic supporters...STUNNED!
Peter Houston was breaking Celtic/Lennon’s balls and yet we see Celtic overreact like a pre-pubescent child...STUNNED!

Pretty much sums up why I'm embarrassed to be Scottish.

Were bad now we never used to be ye he can sign good players on the cheap that can be sold on for big money. (Izzy) Furthermore i respect walter smith as a manager you cant fault his accomplishments but as a person i dont need to like him the same way people don't like lennon.

Also people can slag the spl for being shit (which it is) but theres more of a chance that celtic and rangers will be in the ucl than arsenal or Spurs.

Actually i would say houston was more like the child as he couldn't except that he lost the game.

But scottish football is in a decline atm but if we win the league this season will it stop me celebrating? no cause because although the leagues shite its still a fucking title!

One of the best young players Goodwillie was sold for a cool 2 million, you could make more money winning the league rather then selling the better players at the club who might not be as replaced easily.

How many years has it been since you made it to the group stages in the champions league??

no cause because although the leagues shite its still a fucking title!
It's fans like you that the johnston's pain trophy are crying out for over in England!

Sandro, adebayor, van der vaart, Kranjcar and corluka are all injured!

Good draw for the Irish. We might get our distraction from the inevitable England meltdown in Poland/Ukraine. Estonia are not quite as bad as some would make out, although they are not as good as Norn Iron made them look. It will be interesting to see how the Irish deal with being the favourites rather than the underdogs.

Spurs are nearly as bad as Newcastle for having a perennial injury crisis.

That pus their terrible SJP form would mean an interesting game for the neutrals.

I dunno how we managed to get seeded ahead of Turkey but anyways we got a bit of luck in the draw by getting Estonia. I'd fancy our chances against them rather then Bosnia or Turkey however our woeful performance against Armenia doesn't leave me very confident for next weeks game.

We should win but with an Italian manager we will probably go one nil up then sit back and give them a chance to get back in the game instead of putting the game to bed by getting another goal.
With Kevin Doyle suspended Robbie Keane injured(a blessing in disguise) and Trapatoni oblivious to the existence of Leon Best we will end up starting with Simon Cox and John Walters up front. Hardly going to instill fear in the Estonia defence. Although Cox has done well in every game he's played for us.

I'd be completely OK with that. If we're going to keep trotting out the 'players need to recognise that it is an honour and privilege to play for their country' speech then we might as well show some semblance of upholding the ideal.

It's not like we're that short of options up there, or that he's been any kind of revelation in qualifying, or that this kind of thing hasn't happened before. Drop him.

I would endorse this too, although I was aiming more at the idea that Rooney won't play for England at Euro 2012 because they will contrive not to qualify from their group.

Spurs won't beat Newcastle, Modric was bossed around at SJP last season by Danny Guthrie and Parker, well Parker had a mare at SJP as well.
