Domestic football - spam version

Real Sociedad just scored twice in a matter of minutes V Barca, the second coming from an awful back-pass from Villa and Busquets getting his arm in the way of the initial shot which then hit the crossbar only for a Sociedad player to follow up and tuck the ball home. Busquets is a lucky boy and Barca are looking shaky, but Messi is now on. Glad to have La Liga back :)

Scumchester United fans kicking off over Kevin Davies' challenge on Tom Cleverley which resulted in a broken foot for Cleverley. Unlucky really as they seem to have forgotten Johnny Evans' challenge on Stuart Holden which left Holden with a broken leg.

Stoke got a lucky penalty in their only attack. That being said, apparently they defended superbly. Can't complain about the result.

I don't get why people keep saying the penalty they got was lucky. Carragher had his arm around him and dragged him (Walters who's a big guy) down. For me it was obvious. Suarez deserved that booking he got too for being a massive twat.

Also, Steve Bruce has selective memory of his own seeing as he himself isolated Gyan at Sunderland by keeping him away from the media, so I can certainly see why Gyan would leave.

This.

It was a blatant penalty, I don't care what anyone says. Also, wasn't Carragher the last man? Why didn't he get booked? And all this about liverpool being screwed out of a penalty is utter shite. The handball was ball to hand, and it hit his body first. I thought Stoke played genuinely very well. Arsenal on the other hand, eugh. Thank god for Szczensny (check spelling).

Norwich are 1-0 down against West Brom inside 5 minutes and I think that De Laet for Norwich has probably been at fault for all of Norwich's goals this season, can't belive he is on loan from none other than Manchester United

That's the reason we loan him out ;)

Haven't seen much of Norwich this season so actually looking forward to this game. Fulham and Blackburn could be interesting too. "Interesting".

In the way that Fulham/Blackburn games are. It could be 300 goals or 0-0 one extreme or the other.

Lee's uncle on FB

I don't know how many of you are watching Norwich against West Brom but it is an effing disgrace a club the size of West Brom have black gaffer tape as armbands for 9/11 shame shame shame and just for that I hope they get stuffed

It's got nothing to do with 9/11. From the Beeb.
1255: West Brom will wear black armbands at Carrow Road in tribute to 14-year-old academy player Blake Melbourne who died on Saturday after a long illness. There will be a minute's applause before kick off.

Anybody watch The Sunday Supplement? Seemed like they were almost tipping Stoke for 4th place. We're 4th now, the only way is down.

Wow another missed penalty.

From BBC:
9 out of 15 pens this season have been missed
Norwich have had four pens against them in four games.

Depends who did the tipping really. The host is a bit of a fanny but Martin Samuel makes a lot of sense most of the time. Only other name I can remember is Paddy Barclay but he's a bit of a wanker.

Goals on Sunday I think were tipping you for top 8 but said the Europa League schedule could be the pivotal factor.

We finished 13th last seeason mostly because of our FA Cup run. I'd expect us to get to the quarter finals in that and the Europa Cup. Talk of a top 10 finish seems unlikely, let alone top 8.

I duno we dropped from 9th to 12th in about 5 minutes thanks to a WestBrom goal and you were a goal off us and a point off top 10. Closer than you think.
