Domestic football - spam version

Norwich did well to score, and Grant Holt is living the dream of fat men across the land, but Carroll missed a sitter, and Liverpool should really have won the game comfortably.

The Barcelona game was brilliant for the last two minutes. Everyone I was in the pub with are Chelsea fans, so they hate Barca. When they missed the penalty everyone cheered. And then when they showed Kanoute punching Fabregas in the face, everyone cheered louder. Good times.

Not as good as my mate drunkenly professing that flights to Seville cost £50, and if any of the 7 of us chose to go there, he would pay anything over £50. Actual price, £400 each, which means he owes a total of about £2,500...

Yeah, that was fucking painful to sit through. I'm just lucky I don't know any City fans. I feel sorry for the poor fuckers up north who have to go to work or school tomorrow. Totally embarrassing.

Well, that was ridiculous! 19 games of dominance then an utter capitulation. Awful performance in the second half. Fletcher got a good goal though but I'm hoping this is the kick up the backside a lot of the team needed given how they've performed lately.

Utd have been pretty poor for about a month. Their late goals have been to rescue points rather than win games. This defeat and the manner of it should be the realisation for them, many of their fans and the pundits that Utd are nowhere near as good as they were made out to be in the first 5 games.

This also reinforced my belief that Johnny Evans is not good enough and Rio is done as a top defender.

I have to agree with that, especially the Ferdinand comment. I've been saying to friends for a few weeks now that I can see him playing in the MLS in the not too distant future.

I can't believe I was refereeing a Under 8's game during the biggest game of the fucking season, the scoreline has only added insult to injury and I wouldn't mind if the game I was refereeing had some controversial moments but it was just so fucking boring and the worst part is I forgot to get my money so not only did I miss the Manchester derby, I’m also £12 down

I actually thought Evans had had a decent game til the red-card! Bah!

Agree about the realisation point too, we had a good start but this season was always going to be tough. Gutted the bubble got burst in such a brutal way but it had to happen eventually.

1. We haven't been in top form lately. If we had played them earlier on in the season (charity shield) it may of been a different result.

2. Even though Man City were very good, we would never of conceded 6 with 11 men.

3. Easy to accept defeat and limit the damage. That's not in our DNA. Playing in front of 75,000 fans at home. We have to attack to the end.

And I've just seen that Levante are top of La Liga

You know La Liga the league with team like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia, Seville, Villareal, Athletico Madrid in it, well Levante have more points than all of those teams

Next you'll tell me Newcastle are 4th in the league a point of Man U who are second and joint points with Chelsea on 3rd and 4 points ahead of Liverpool who are 5th.
