Pellegrini is leaving City.

Edit: And now we know why. They're negotiating with Guardiola.

Crap move by Guardiola he's going to a place where he's going to have no real challenge. Taking over a team that is already able to win the league and very well could this season. He's better off going to either Man United or Chelsea if he wanted a challenge. He's now going to takeover an easier (maybe safer is the better word) job to protect his reputation and ego. On the flip side, City are probably going to offer the most and you can never blame someone for chasing the cash imo.

I wonder how hard the likes of United and Chelsea have tried to get him. This will also likely lead to Jose heading to Old Trafford

Lee, is your twitter handle lee923? This just appeared on a pal of mine's Facebook, who happens to be a Geordie fan. My intrigue in how much of a coincidence this could be got the better of me.

Oh that's me.

So, he's doing what he always does, then?

Yeah pretty much. I dont really get the hype around pep in this respect. He hasnt built a legacy at a club just jumped in and out when the time is right. The Barca side he managed could have been managed by nearly anyone and they would have been successful

Was it a this response is hilarious type of post?

It was a "I feel you'll appreciate this tweet on a few levels..." post. She has a cat and likes the Boring Milner account, so those are two of "a few". I'll try and find an opportunity to barge onto the post and point them toward the hilarious reply at the bottom

Sweet!

Anybody know anything about this lad Stoke have spent eighteen million on?

Can't say I do but could be a great signing. I love the way Stoke have done business over the last year or two. Cementing things. A long way from when bookies paid out on them getting relegated.

Van Djik purchased for my fantasy team, I forgot to take him off the bench >_<

Barcelona 7-0 Valencia in the Copa Del Rey.
Luis Suarez with 4. Lionel Messi with 3.

Poor Gary Neville. and Phil as well.
Wonder if Gary'll be getting the sack soon. His time as Valencia coach has been atrocious thus far.

I genuinely feel bad for the guy, the only plus side to him getting the sack is that we'll likely get Gary Neville back on Sky Sports.

Who knows, maybe things will only get better for him at Valenica... as unlikely as that may be.

The Challenge for him is getting City though the Champions League.

This guy gets it. Pep's job is to get the UCL title for ManCity.

You mean the Champions League that Man City are still in this year and have got a good draw, along with three other competitions?

Doesn't exactly send out the right message to the players - "We don't think you can win."

Poor timing.
