Someone on Twitter said it was more impressive because Adam looks like he should work in a kebab shop.

One goal that I thought was conspicuous by its absence on Match of the Day's list was Luiz Suarez's against Norwich City:

Well whilse he didn't do himself any favours, there was an agenda against the guy. The media in this country, especially wen it comes to sports, are fucking wankers.

I actually felt for Suarez because his outbursts were genuine heat of the moment so he needed psychological help. Now someone like Diego Costa I can't stand because hhe's a vicious nasty bastard on purpose.

Like they said on MOTD it's probably the best because it was scored against a world class keeper.

This has been the most meh I've been as a Newcastle fan. I'm upset that Ashley, pardew, Carver and those players have taken the passion out of the game.

Been following non league North Shields for the last year and a half.

I've not seen it, I'm at work until 9pm on Easter. Yes Easter Sunday.

Got to sting a little seeing him do so much better now. Never understood the venom against the guys like him and Big Sam by fanbases. At least he isn't Steve Kean.

He's not doing so much better. He's doing the same he was at Newcastle, just Carver's worse.

Looking at Palace's form and Newcastle's form after the job switch and not having a fanbase that hates him, I think I have say he is doing much better.

He's not doing much better, Palace are about where we were when he was managing. His record at Newcastle was rubbish in 2014. People forget he left of his own accord.

Sunderland have only won 3 out of 22 premier league games. 2 were against us. We're awful.

Well he just beat Sunderland away with Palace. If he was that bad at Newcastle and is doing well at the moment with Palace, I don't see how you can still claim he isn't doing much better.

Because Palace are the same place in the league as Newcastle were under him. That's how I can say that.

Bitter to the end. :lmao: Same positions but enjoying a better relationship with the fanbase isn't doing much better still?

The Man United machine is revived in recent weeks. Ironic that their biggest signings in the summer contributed very little to their recent form. Di Maira, Falcao, Shaw all redundant in the new formation.

Not bitter at all. He and Ashley took any enjoyment I had in the club out, Carver nailed the coffin shut.

Also wtf has happened to Man City recently?

ManCity sat on their laurels to an extent and actually were handicapped by FFP restrictions.
Mangala and Bony are decent signings but any team that wants sustained success needs an exclamation signing(look at Madrid,Barca,Bayern) and ManCity failed to do that and it caught up with them, lMO.

Fair enough. Wouldn't have enjoyed a calender year of 2014 by Newcastle at any club. But the abuse were relentless even after Newcastle's mini revival towards the end of the year. You could argue the fans took any enjoyment out of the club for Pardew too.

Too dependent on Yaya Toure who isn't the same as last season. The impact was most noticeable went he went off for the African cup and their form never recovered even when he returned. Also Kompany and Augero have been poor after recovering from injuries. That's their whole spine besides Silva all playing poorly at the same time.

FFP played a part for sure. They had to let go of Negredo and use Jovetic. But the dismal spending of resources played a part too. They splunked everything on Mangala who couldn't even nudge Demichelis out of the team and Fernando who is a good but expensive backup when you already have Toure and Fernandinho.

I don't think a lack of an exclamation signing is the issue. Look at United, Di Maria and Falcao are bit part players in their current run of form. The team just isn't playing well enough to win games they should win base on their talent. Something just isn't clicking.
