Domestic football - spam version

The fact that United are fretting about buying Screech when Ozil is available is testament to how small time David Moyes is.

Turns out Mourinho doesn't want Ba to go to Spurs or Arsenal cause he doesn't want to sell to a rival. Should've seen that coming.

It's all happened under the radar but Brendan Rogers is slowly building a beast of a side. When I was combing the Fantasy Football squads at the start of the season, you can see the strength in each area of the team. Very good keeper, probably the most solid defence in the league, Gerrard and Coutinho, 2 very talented strikers and some very good young players who are only going to get stronger. A bit more width and a 3rd striker and they'll put in a serious title challenge.
I would have liked to see Will Hughes come in as a potential Gerrard replacement but I think we go for him after another season. I think a wide player would have been good while Sterling and Ibe develop.

Injuries may plague us but we may be able to keep this run up if we can keep Sturridge fit, Gerrard's engine ticking over and Coutinho playing sublimely. Mata would have been amazing. I hope we let some of our kids go on loan. Wisdom should go but may not if Johnson is injured.

I'm becoming a real fan of Rodgers, if he could get a bit more investment behind him, he will make a quality squad fit for contention. As it is, this has been a very decent window, if only for the massive exit of deadwood.

God dammit, announce the Ozil deal already.

Also, fair play to Lukaku for showing some loyalty to the West Brom fans that supported him so much last season.

Moving away from Newcastle's problems and onto some slightly happier news (for me at least), according to BBC Ozil rejected a move to PSG for more money to play for Arsenal. He's a class act, and that'll endear him to the fans instantly.

About now's the time we put in a stupid bid in for someone who's already agreed to join a club to have it rejected within seconds.

We got him. We got the bug-eyed fucker. So happy.

Great, now where are you going to put him in a midfield that has

Walcott
Ramsey
Cazorla
Rosicky
Ox
Wilshere
Arteta

Obviously it's Wengers dream to play 1-8-1. 80% possession and no goals, so business as usual.

Walcott on the right, Giroud through the middle, Cazorla on the left. Ozil playing behind Giroud. Wilshere and Ramsey holding in the middle.

Rosicky and Flamini will make good super-subs and Arteta and the Ox are injured for several months, so that's a non-factor at the moment. People forget that Rosicky is 32 and Arteta is 31. They're not going to be around much longer, especially Rosicky, who's contract is up at the end of the season I believe.

Fellaini sold for 27mil
Lukaku in on a loan
Gareth Barry on a potential free
James McCarthy for a somewhat ludicrous 13mil

Everton win Deadline Day

Stolen from Twitter:
If arsenal don't sing "Carzola to the left of me, Ozil to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle Giroud" this season I'll be disappointed

Well the Premier League lost one of the 5 best players in the world, and received one of the 5 best players in the world. Evens out, I guess.
