Aguero & Rooney have both had a fantastic season and there's not much to choose between them. I picked Aguero because it's his first season in the PL and a lot of Rooney's goals have been penalties so you can see that I had to go into detail to choose one over the other.
Come to think of it... Richards has been way better than Walker this season.
I was tempted to select him. Especially when I saw that there was no Chelsea player in the team but the form of the side under AVB was just too bad.

I'll have the game on in the background but it is taking a backseat to reading, writing of notes, MSN and general surfing as, for all of their skill, I find Barcelona incredibly boring to watch for the most part and I find large numbers of the Chelsea team to be hateful *****.

This is news to me. As far as I'm aware there is no automatic qualification if you win the champions league.

It only ever came up when Liverpool won it and back then they said in future the winners get the last available champions league spot. Ive heard a few pundits say in the last few weeks that winning the champions league is the only way for them to get in it for next year.

Great game, much as I admire Barcelona I am always happy to see them lose these ones, and Chelsea worked hard enough to deserve it. While it may be an unpopular view, but I am pretty nuetral so I dont care, it was good to see Torres score the goal that killed it off. If he doesnt get his form back after that he never will.

Yeah, it came up after Liverpool won it in 2005 and finished 5th. After that, the rule is that there can only be a maximum of 4 teams from any one country so if Chelsea win the Champions League and finish outside the Top 4, they will take England's fourth spot over whomever finishes 4th.
