While I still expect Barca to defeat Chelsea at the Camp Nou, the big x factor in the next match is how much their respective fixtures against Madrid and Arsenal play out with regards to fatigue and injuries. Although they are 2 big games, Barca have home advantage against Madrid and Chelsea which is always a plus.

I hope Chelsea get a fair few injuries before 2nd May.

Even at Stamford Bridge, I really don't think the Toon need much help in causing the back 5 of Chelsea problems. If your front 3 stay fit and fresh then you'll cause some concern for them.

I see Arsenal winning this. Chelsea had a great result against Barca but were chasing them for most of the game and really working hard. Arsenal have had a longer break and will want to make a statement after succumbing to SuperWigan.

That's the only reason I didn't bet on Chelsea winning 4-0.

I'm almost certain Chelsea won't lose. Chelsea will definitely score, even with Torres in the line-up. It's just a matter of who plays at the back (hopefully Bosingwa gets his contract terminated) and if Chelsea can keep a clean sheet. Then again, if it came to that, I'm confident Chelsea can outscore Arsenal.

I too see it being a low scoring match, especially if Cahill and Terry play. All the goals will be Chelsea's. Chelsea probably won't get more than two with Torres starting.

People said Chelsea didn't have a chance against Napoli... look how that turned out, people said Chelsea didn't have chance against Tottenham... look how that turned out, people said Chelsea didn't have a chance against Barcelona... look how that turned out. Do you get it now? Don't be so fucking quick to write Chelsea off. Barcelona are the best side in World Football and if Chelsea can beat them two days after beating Tottenham 5-1 in an FA Cup semi-final then I'm sure Chelsea can (and will) beat Arsenal two days after beating Barcelona.

I know Chelsea had to work harder against Barca than Tottenham but that's where the changes will come in. EVERYBODY has played well under RDM (even Kalou and Mikel) and anybody in the squad will try their best against Arsenal. The only players I'd say that Chelsea will need against Arsenal from the Barca match are Cech, Terry and Mata. Cech's a goalkeeper, Terry is Chelsea's best defender and is capable of match-winning peformances when not even 100% and Mata was brought off, so they'll likely play.

I was joking, Rojan is a mighty big fan of proclaiming ROSICKYYYYY whenever he gets the chance. I was playing along with him.

I'm not having a go at Chelsea here, all I'm saying is that they worked hard against Spurs, and were incredibly outdone in terms of possession against Barca yet still pulled a win out of the bag. With Drogba out, Di Matteo does need to rotate up front and will likely do so in other areas too as you pointed out. Arsenal are renowned for their passing game and will be playing in front of their own fans, with the 3rd place in the league well in their sights. They still haven't won a trophy in 6 years or so, but given how poorly their campaign started off, achieving 3rd place and automatic entry into the Champions League will be a massive achievement.

Arsenal have the advantage in this match, but by no means will it be a stroll for them. You yourself have noted the quick succession of big games they've had to play and we can't ignore that factor. If they get a win over Arsenal it will indeed be impressive, I just don't see it happening I'm afraid.
