The Rock was due to film Fast & The Furious 7 over the coming months but this has now been shelved because of Paul Walkers death.

Looking at The Rocks IMDB it seems he is going to be twiddling his thumbs over the coming months.

Is there a possibility he could return to WWE now he has some spare time? Rock has some un-funished business.

I can't say the thought didn't enter my mind immediately after Paul Walker's untimely death, but there are major variables at play. Another actor could just as readily play Paul's role in the movie, Paul could be written out of the Fast movie, or, and this one really makes Rock's return unlikely, the movie is pushed to a later date. Seeing as the director has already lost one actor, I doubt anyone in the entertainment industry will encourage Rock to return to the ring. He suffered a rather serious injury at Wrestlemania which definitely threatened the production of Hercules. I would love nothing more than instead of twiddling his fingers as you put it, Rock kills some time with an in ring return. I cant think of a more suitable atmosphere for a Rock return. However, one has to play devils advocate and assume that this tragedy will only make Hollywood more protective of its greater assets, Rock being one of them.

No, I don't think it will have any effect on The Rock coming back. Apparently, filming was meant to resume on F&F 7 today after thanksgiving but the filming has even out on hold to give the cast time to grieve after losing a close friend in Paul Walker. The director is is discussing a rewrite of the script to be respectful to Walker's passing, and I don't think filming will be held up for that long.

The Rock has been that busy will all his films recently and is obviously devastated after losing a friend so isn't going to be banging down doors to return to wrestling because he has a bit of spare time now, he'll just take the time off and then go back to Hollywood once filming restarts, I would be highly surprised if we see Rock in the WWE any time soon.

And what is this unfinished business you speak of? His angle with Cena ended at Wrestlemania, Cena is in a totally different storyline now, where would Rock fit into all of this anyway?

The unfinished business would his rematch. He lost the gold and is entitled to his rematch. Also, he simply upped and left! We didn't hear a word after his defeat in the main event of Wrestlemania.

Rock WILL return one day and address these issues. Even Vince has said so on Twitter.

What an insensitive and poorly timed thread tbh..a man just died and the first thing you write about is the Rock. If anything Rock is mourning wiseguy. The ignorance is strong in this one

Agreed.
This thread is so insensitive. The man died not even a week ago in horrible circumstances and the first thing that pops in your mind is The Rock.

Im sure The Rock is mourning a friend and not giving a damn about wrestling right now.

There is so much more to life then wrestling.

Dude, that's not right. Paul Walker just died and you are not being very respectful by making this topic. Closed.
