If this has been done or is in the wrong section, my apologies...
Does anybody remember the liontamer?
One of the most efficent moves in the Bizz, many have used it in different variations but I've always found Jericho's to be the superior one.
Now that was a while ago, the liontamer?? He hasn't called it that in years, and further more, thruought the years, he's reinvented it himself, and sometimes not good.
What's the deal with sometimes him not even really sitting down and putting that "soul" into it and crank it back like Stu taught him.
My question is, how do you feel about the way he uses the move?
Now that's in the sense of, do you think it gets "cheapened" by not selling right on Jericho's part?
I loved it when he used to really get into it and crank back, putting the knee in the back of the neck. That's the liontamer, arched up and almost in a standing position, more pressure to the neck.
Its just sometimes when he does it, it looks like a bootleg boston crab. No finesse, sometimes no nothing. It just looks so sloppy occasionaly.
Watching raw right now and he definitly applied it good, sitting on the lower back, but that's not the liontamer.
Can he go back to using that version? Is it seen as "too violent" of a move for the general audience? I mean look @ DB. I'm just saying, it looks like he's going to break a neck or 2 while he does that. And why did he even switch it up on us anyway?
Was he told to change the way he applies the move?
Just so many questions I can ask.
What's your thoughts?
