I have to say i feel sorry for him because i think alot of the hate for him is just because its popular to do so. Most ppl who say they hate him seem to only do because other people say they do too without understanding that he is only really doing what written for him.

Some of the people lay alot of the pg era blame on him which is unfair since that decision is above his paygrade.

There really is no need to feel bad for him. He doesn't feel bad for himself. He loves the attention the fans give him whether it is cheers or boos. As long as fans buy a ticket to see him, there is no reason for the man to be unhappy. He is the face of the company and isn't going anywhere soon. The guy is young, athletic, and wealthy beyond his wildest dreams. If I were as popular as John Cena, I wouldn't care either if fans cheered or booed me as long as they didn't sit on their hands.

Actually, just to be on television and apart of a company as large as WWE, I wouldn't care to be the timekeeper. The man is living his dream and he may get a few boos every now and then, but he has reached the top of the wrestling world. He gets to act in movies and television shows too. John Cena doesn't feel bad for himself, neither should we.

I genuinely believe someone high up in WWE wants him to keep his wrestling ability at its current level. He isnt horrible, but isnt great, hes at the level where he can be carried. His punches/moves/STF are part of the reason he gets his mixed reaction and gets cheer/boos.

I was thinking for a while about this, and came to the conclusion that people dont want him to polish his in ring game so he can continue getting this heat. The reactions make everything appear better so hearing the crowd go crazy over him, but for different reasons is always intriguing and makes you want to go in a way. The guy does so much for WWE and works so hard for them on everything else that its not like he couldnt take Finlay or someone aside and get his help on this.

Or am i just a conspiracy theorist?

I do feel sorry for him - it seems to be the cool thing to bash him and boo him at live events.

People say he can't wrestle, he can wrestle better than everybody on here.

He is far from my favourite wrestler and I thing his character needs a tweak and a change, but he doesn't 'suck', he can wrestle and he is the biggest draw we have since The Rock.

The man loves this business, is loyal and busts his ass everyday just to entertain us, yet the 'cool people' see fit to diss him at every opportunity, which is bang out of order. Being famous and rich doesn't mean that being treated like sh*t by Internet fans won't hurt him.

He says he think Evan Bourne should get a push and that Daniel Bryan should be re-hired, and then people have a go at him for that, seriously grow up! Whatever he does isn't good enough, people look for bad in everything he does - almost like schoolyard bullies.

Look at the work he does for the make-a-wish foundation, all the young fans he has, the money he makes Vince. The man only has good intentions, it's about time people grew up.

FINISHED :-)

Yes I did feel kinda bad for Cena. He goes out there and puts his heart and soul into all of his matches, wrestling is his life's passion. And when the fans go out and jeer him and scream insults at him until their voices go hoarse, that has got to get to him sometimes.
But I believe what he did after the match at F4W was more of a shoot then we think. Cena is professional enough to not freak out on fans like that in the middle of the ring. To me I took all of that as a stunt. I'm not a Cena hater but I'm not his biggest fan but I do like seeing any wrestler develope or change and I am actually hoping this will lead to a heel turn for Cena.

I did feel bad for Cena but i'm sure he'll get over it.I don't like the way fans disrespect him when he can wrestle 30 times better than most of them.I'd like to see a Cena hater get in the ring and try to do what John does

When you are a pro wrestler, there are three ways the fans can treat you. They can cheer you, they can boo you, or they can simply not care about you. Of the three, only one of those is a truly negative situation for a wrestler...and it isn't getting booed. Whether the fans boo or cheer John Cena is irrelevant. It means he is getting a reaction out of the crowd. It means they care enough about his character to have an opinion. It would be much worse if the crowd was apathetic towards him. Being booed and being cheered is all the same. Those booing stay in their seats to watch him lose. Those cheering stay in their seats to watch him win. It's the apathetic ones that leave to go to the bathroom, get more beer, etc.

You have to have a thick skin to be a pro wrestler. I am certain that John Cena isn't terribly affected by the "you can't wrestle" chants. He is a multiple time WWE champion, nobody in the crowd can say that. He probably makes more money in one night than anyone in the crowd makes in a month. Those same people that boo him buy his T-shirts. They buy the armbands for their 6 year old. They buy the action figures.

John Cena is doing just fine.
