I used to Karaoke all the time and am one of the worst singers of all time. I don't do it as much as I used to though but my friends and I used to go to this Karaoke club every Friday night and get trashed and sing. My usual line up consisted of "Poor some Sugar on me" by Def Leppard, "Be My lover" by Alice Cooper, "Bawitdaba" by Kid Rock and my big song was "YMCA" by Village People and I usually mix in a few random ones as well. I have a really deep voice and can't seem to hit the high notes so I try to sing rock songs where it's not as necessary. I sing YMCA just to fire up the crowd, that's one thing I can do, I can't sing but I got good stage presence and always make sure the crowd is into it and having a good time. I make sure I have the entire place doing the YMCA when I sing that or singing along and dancing with my other songs. That's something alot of Karaoke singers are lacking they'll go up and have a great voice but they'll just sit there on the stool and that's it, while the crowd basically falls asleep or stops paying attention. It's all about working the crowd.
