Earlier today, Zack Snyder Tweeted a photo taken of the Batmobile and Ben Affleck in the Batsuit from the Batman vs. Superman film.

The link to the story contains two pictures, the top one is the official version while the bottom one has been altered so that it's much lighter, allowing you to see more details of the suit.

Personally, I think the suit looks pretty damn good. In some ways, it reminds me of the suit used for the 1989 Tim Burton version in that it looks more like an old school comic book costume. In comics, the various costumes are impossibly skin tight showing off every detail of impossibly well developed musculature. Obviously the musculature is "body armor", but it doesn't have the more blatant look of military grade combat armor as with the Christopher Nolan trilogy. The bat emblem and the design of ears on the cowl definitely have very, very old school look about them. From what I can see, Affleck looks good in the suit; now let's see if he can make the character his own.

It looks proper old school, like some of the comic book incarnations. You can tell they're trying to differentiate themselves from the previous Batman films which all had long ears and more body armour esque. I'm actually digging the utility belt for the fact that it looks like it actually carries stuff and not just there for show (as previous ones were) and it'll actually look as if he will get stuff out of it instead of magically getting them from somewhere.

The batmobile looks pretty coom as well. It fits the old school comic look while also looking like something that can work in a battle

Reminds me of two things.
1.) One of the downloadable skins in Arkham City
and 2.) Batista. On 'roids. Squared.

As far as Batsuits go, there's no beating the armored one from The Dark Knight.

The suit was clearly heavily influenced by Frank Millers Dark Knight Rises

As a fan of Dark Knight Returns I dig that, it also makes me wonder if Afflecks portrayal of Batman is going to be more of an older Dark Knight Returns influence too. Batmobile looks pretty awesome as well from what I can see of it. All that said, I'm still very nervous of having Snyder directing this movie, while I didn't hate MOS, I did feel he went way to dark with it, Superman movies should be brighter & give you a sense of hope, Superman movies should be fun, not dark & depressing with a dash of relentless destruction.
